Full job description

Job Description 
The Area Sales Manager will own the complete school outreach, onboarding, account management and revenue responsibility for their assigned region. We are looking for individuals with existing relationship with schools.

This role requires a considerable amount of field visits, with some work-from-home time depending upon the sales needs.

This is an individual contributor role. You will be responsible for the entire sales life cycle from lead generation to closure. In some cases, you might be supported by the inside sales team.

As part of your job responsibilities, you will:

Drive school onboarding and revenue generation in assigned territory
Identify, approach, and close new schools (CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, Private Schools)
Conduct in-person school visits and presentations
Build relationships with Principals, Academic Coordinators, and Management
Carry and achieve hard revenue targets
Develop city-wise and state-wise expansion strategy
Track daily sales activity and maintain reporting discipline
Coordinate with inside sales team for follow-ups
Ensure collections and participation targets are met
Represent Genius Olympiads professionally in the region

You are expected to be someone who can:

Thrive in challenging and dynamic environments
Successfully achieve aggressive revenue targets
Is a go-getter and don't take no for an answer
Speak fluent English, Hindi and local languages
Work independently from lead generation to closing a sale
Apply creative and ethical hacks to generate revenue
Handle objections and rejections in a polite, professional and pleasant manner
