Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer / Engineering Intern – Precision Machining
Location: Greater Noida, UP (On-site) Job Type: Full-Time / Internship
About Us
We are a fast-growing defense and aerospace manufacturing startup dedicated to engineering high-precision components for unmanned aerial systems (drones) and small arms. Operating out of our modern 450-square-meter facility in Greater Noida, we specialize in everything from advanced drone chassis to precision civilian rifle components. We are building a lean, highly capable team to scale our production and meet the rigorous standards of top-tier aerospace partners.
The Role
We are seeking a proactive Manufacturing Engineer—or a highly motivated Engineering Intern—to join our shop floor operations. You will be instrumental in driving our CNC operations, quality control, and process optimization.
Internship & Training Track: If you are a fresh graduate or a current engineering student with a strong theoretical foundation but limited practical experience, we want to hear from you. We are committed to mentoring the right candidate. You will receive comprehensive, hands-on training from experienced industry professionals to get you fully up to speed on our advanced machinery and processes.
Key Responsibilities (or Training Focus for Interns)
- CNC Programming & Operation: Oversee (or learn to program and set up) our Cosmos Smartmill 60 CNC machining centers to produce high-precision aerospace and defense components.
- Quality Assurance & Metrology: Lead or assist in quality control efforts using our in-house Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). Learn to generate accurate CMM reports to ensure parts meet strict dimensional tolerances.
- Process Engineering: Help develop and optimize machining strategies for a variety of materials, with a specific focus on finishing and machining ADC 12 aluminum castings.
- Production Scaling: Assist in the design of jigs, fixtures, and tooling to increase production efficiency and reduce cycle times.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on the shop floor to ensure consistent quality and alignment with aerospace standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or currently enrolled in a degree program) in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of machining principles, CAD/CAM software, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- A proactive, startup mentality: highly adaptable, eager to learn, and willing to get your hands dirty on the factory floor.
- For Full-Time Applicants: Demonstrated hands-on experience in programming and setting up modern CNC milling machines and CMM operations.
- For Interns: A strong academic record, a passion for defense/aerospace engineering, and a highly trainable attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience or coursework related to machining castings (like ADC 12) or holding tight tolerances for precision assemblies.
- A strong personal interest in the aerospace, defense, or precision firearms manufacturing industry.
