Job Title: Front Desk Executive / Front Office Executive

Department: Front Office
Reports To: Front Office Manager / Hotel Manager

Job Summary

The Front Desk Executive is responsible for welcoming guests, handling check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, and ensuring a pleasant and smooth guest experience throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications
Manage guest queries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
Maintain accurate guest records and billing information
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments
Handle cash, card payments, and prepare daily front office reports
Answer phone calls, emails, and manage front desk correspondence
Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards
Promote hotel services, facilities, and offers to guests
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area

Skills & Competencies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Customer-focused and service-oriented attitude
Basic computer knowledge (PMS, MS Office, email)
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Problem-solving and conflict-handling skills
Professional appearance and behavior

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum qualification: 10+2 / Graduate preferred
Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management is an advantage
1–3 years of experience in hotel front office (preferred)
Freshers with good communication skills may also apply

Work Conditions

Shift-based duty (including night shifts, weekends, and holidays)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Work Location: In person
