Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master

Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Remote
Experience: 8+ Years
Certification Required: CSM or PSM

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of project management experience, strong hands-on experience working in Agile environments, and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from initiation through completion while serving as a Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing team impediments, and ensuring effective collaboration among cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management

Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation through successful delivery and closure.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, resources, milestones, and dependencies.
Monitor project progress, deliverables, timelines, and overall performance.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
Track project budgets and resource allocation to ensure delivery within approved timelines and budgets.
Ensure project documentation, reporting, and governance requirements are maintained.

Scrum Master / Agile Leadership

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Ensure teams understand and follow Scrum principles, Agile practices, and organizational processes.
Identify and remove impediments that may affect team productivity or sprint delivery.
Protect the team from unnecessary external distractions and help maintain a productive working environment.
Promote transparency, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and effective ways of working.

Stakeholder Management

Provide regular project status updates, including progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and key decisions.
Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to prioritize and manage the product backlog.
Facilitate effective communication between technical teams, business teams, leadership, and other stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Facilitate decision-making and help resolve conflicts effectively.

Team Leadership

Lead and motivate cross-functional teams toward successful project outcomes.
Mentor team members on Agile methodologies and best practices.
Encourage a culture of collaboration, ownership, continuous learning, and innovation.
Support teams in identifying opportunities for process improvement and increased delivery efficiency.

Required QualificationsEducation

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

8+ years of experience in project management.
Proven experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
Strong hands-on knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
Experience managing multiple projects and cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated experience with project planning, risk management, stakeholder communication, and delivery management.

Required Certification

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is required.

Preferred Qualifications

PMP certification or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
Experience working with distributed/remote Agile teams is preferred.
Experience with project management and Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms is a plus.

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: Up to ₹1,500,000.00 per year

Experience:

Project management: 7 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

CSM or PSM certification? (Preferred)
