Job Purpose

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Business Development Executive to support business growth and customer acquisition across the Oil & Gas, Chemical, EPC, and Process Industries .

The candidate will be responsible for identifying potential customers, generating leads, developing customer relationships, supporting business proposals, and converting opportunities into orders.

Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities with private industries, EPC companies, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, and Process Industry customers .
Generate leads through market research, customer visits, networking, references, and other business development activities.
Develop and maintain relationships with customer representatives across technical, procurement, commercial, and project functions.
Support senior management in developing relationships with key decision-makers and customer organizations.
Understand customer requirements and identify opportunities for TPI, FQA, Mechanical Integrity, Process Safety, HSE, and related technical services .
Maintain updated information on existing and upcoming customer requirements, projects, expansions, shutdowns, and EPC activities.
Follow up with customers on enquiries, proposals, technical discussions, and commercial negotiations.
Coordinate with internal technical, operations, and tender teams to prepare proposals and commercial offers.
Support the tender team by providing market information, customer inputs, project details, competitor information, and costing inputs .
Follow up on submitted quotations and support conversion of leads into order bookings .
Assist in customer empanelment and vendor registration for various services.
Maintain an updated sales pipeline and regularly report business development activities and opportunities.
Support customer retention activities and identify opportunities for repeat business, cross-selling, and up-selling.
Conduct regular customer visits and participate in meetings, presentations, and business discussions.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
Ensure achievement of assigned individual and Business Unit sales targets .
Required Experience
Experience in Business Development / Sales / Customer Relationship Management will be preferred.
Exposure to Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, EPC, Process Industry, Engineering Services, or Industrial Services will be an advantage.
Freshers with strong communication skills and a technical/engineering background may also be considered, depending on business requirements.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology or another relevant technical discipline.
MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing / Business Development will be an added advantage.
Required Skills

Good customer relationship and networking abilities.
Strong interest in sales and business development .
Ability to identify leads and convert opportunities into business.
Good presentation, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
Basic understanding of TPI, FQA, Mechanical Integrity, Process Safety, and HSE Services will be an advantage.
Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint .
Strong willingness to travel for customer visits and business development activities.
Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
