Job Description – HR Recruiter Intern

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated HR Recruiter Intern who is interested in building a career in Recruitment and Human Resources.
The intern will be responsible for supporting the complete recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, follow-ups, and candidate closures.
Source candidates through job portals, social media platforms, employee referrals, databases, and other available recruitment sources.
Screen candidate profiles as per the job requirements and shortlist suitable candidates.
Conduct initial telephonic screening to understand the candidate's experience, skills, salary expectations, notice period, and job preferences.
Schedule a minimum of 5 to 10 candidate interviews daily.
Ensure proper coordination between candidates and the concerned Interview Panel/Hiring Manager.
Follow up with candidates before and after the interview to ensure maximum interview attendance.
Achieve a minimum of 1 candidate closure daily.
Achieve a minimum of 6 candidate closures every week.
A closure will be considered complete as per the company's defined recruitment and joining process.
Take ownership of assigned job openings and work towards closing the positions within the required timeline.
Maintain a healthy and active candidate pipeline for all assigned positions.
Regularly follow up with shortlisted and selected candidates until their joining or final closure.
Coordinate with candidates regarding interview schedules, feedback, salary discussions, offer details, joining dates, and required documentation.
Support the HR team in offer rollout and pre-joining follow-ups.
Maintain accurate candidate details, interview status, follow-up records, and closure updates in the assigned Recruitment Tracker, Excel Sheet, ATS, or CRM.
Update the daily recruitment tracker with the number of profiles sourced, candidates screened, interviews scheduled, interviews attended, selections, offers, and closures.
Submit daily and weekly recruitment performance reports to the reporting manager.
Ensure timely follow-up to minimize candidate dropouts and no-shows.
Build and maintain a strong candidate database for current and future hiring requirements.
Coordinate with the Team Leader, HR Manager, and concerned department heads for recruitment requirements and interview feedback.
Attend recruitment training sessions and learn the company's recruitment process, job requirements, and candidate evaluation criteria.
Maintain professional and positive communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Handle candidate information and company recruitment data confidentially.
Candidates should have good verbal and written communication skills.
Candidates should be confident in making recruitment calls and interacting with candidates.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Email, Job Portals, LinkedIn, and recruitment processes will be an added advantage.
The candidate should be self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a performance-driven recruitment environment.
