Ericsson Security Manager (ESM) provides unique security orchestration and management coupled with powerful security analytics and machine learning capabilities for detecting zero-day attacks and threats. Security Manager is an essential part of evolved networks where security functions, policies, and related configurations are dynamically deployed and adjusted across multi-vendor domains. It is a virtualized security solution designed for end-to-end infrastructure and application-level security management for Mission Critical Networks in 5G and IoT deployments.
By joining our industry-leading Security Solutions unit, you will work with a team of passionate security and software development/operation professionals to develop, deploy, and operate AI/ML-based next-generation cyber security management and assurance systems. You’ll get a front-row seat in the fast-paced security domain and the chance to explore the latest tools and technologies.
What you will do
Act as a customer-facing consultant and Single Point of Contact (SPOC), engaging in both integration and architectural aspects.
Analyze customer requirements, networks, and technologies to design and implement tailored ESM solutions across Bare Metal, Cloud, and IP network environments.
Design and Plan activities.
Deliver processes and documentation: HL designs, LL design, methods of procedure, feature demos, training content.
Handson activities: perform Installations, deployments, and troubleshooting on on-premises and hyperscale environments.
Handle Customer Troubleshooting Requests, Incident Management, and Service Ticket Tracking.
Support presales activities, including offer preparation, solution presentations, and demos.
Drive solution architecture: scalability, resilience, performance, and cloud-native design principles.
Collaborate with developers and project managers to improve efficiency, reliability, and overall system performance.
Contribute to Continuous Improvement of product, processes, and documentation.
Occasionally participate in on-call rotation for customer support.
Be flexible to work across different time zones and willing to travel globally

Experience in Security Domains (Telecom Networks, IoT, ICT Security) and industry standards
Expertise in Cloud-Native principles: Docker, microservices, Kubernetes
Knowledge of Linux systems (Ubuntu, SLES, etc.), virtualization (KVM), and orchestration tools (Helm, OCP, VMware Tanzu)
Scripting skills (Python, Shell, Ansible) and experience with REST APIs
Debugging and troubleshooting expertise with hands-on operational experience
BSc/MSc in IT or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Willingness to travel, adapt, and take ownership with a can-do attitude
It’s an advantage if you have
Experience in CI/CD, DevOps pipelines, Jenkins, GitLab/Gerrit, GitHub
Knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Robot Framework)
Previous experience with other vendor network equipment
SOC (Security Operations Center) background as Analyst or Engineer
API expertise (RESTful web services)
Relevant certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CompTIA Security+, CEH, GSEC, OSCP.
Broad experience in Telco products, including 3PP solutions.
