Full job description

Role Overview:

You will be the technical lead responsible for:

Implementing Insightly CRM pipelines, custom fields, automations, and API integrations
Designing and building a scalable middleware/API layer
Working with operational heads to convert business processes into robust system workflows
Acting as the glue between CRM, web app, and external partner systems (dialers, financing providers, proposal management and scheduling tools, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop Custom CRM/ERP platforms from scratch using the MERN Stack.
Build scalable frontend and backend architectures with strong data modeling and system design practices.
Develop and maintain REST APIs, webhooks, middleware services, and integration layers.
Build custom integrations with third-party platforms where no ready-made connector exists.
Design workflows, automations, user roles, permissions, and business process management systems.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate operational workflows into technical solutions.
Ensure system scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.

Mandatory Requirements:

Proven experience in Custom CRM or ERP Development.
Strong MERN Stack expertise (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js/Next.js, Node.js).
Deep understanding of backend architecture, database design, and data structures.
Hands-on experience building complete systems from frontend to backend.
Experience developing custom API integrations and middleware solutions.
Strong knowledge of AWS, REST APIs, authentication, webhooks, and integration patterns.

Important Evaluation Criteria:

Experience using pre-built CRM integrations alone will not be sufficient. Preference will be given to candidates who have designed and developed custom business solutions and integrations from scratch.

Preferred Experience:

4–8 years of Full-Stack Development experience.
Experience owning products from concept to deployment.
Strong problem-solving, architecture, and debugging skills.
Must have delivered at least one end-to-end Custom CRM, ERP, or Workflow Automation Platform.
Must have built API-driven backend services and custom integrations.
