Making an impact. What will you do?
In this job role you have to monitor and control processes using ACS/DCS system and to the best of ability to meet the onsite
Then you have to deal with customer requirements and liquid requirements for the merchant market- using visual observation via field round, process data analysis and trending and other method.
You have to Optimize of plant operation process using productivity tools and ensure lowest cost of production.
You have to conduct troubleshooting in cases of process related problem/process disturbances and necessary action
whenever required
You will be responsible for helping in sustaining QMS certification (ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 1800) in carrying out
the required action as per standard applicable area.
You have to update P&ID / SWD documents, support Plant Manager per his requirements, manage & supervise contractors for Automation Systems related work operations, bypassing of any interlocks against a permit to work, monitor correct function of automation systems
You have to ensure proper calibration of instruments and analytical systems maintenance, ensure adequate vendor/contractor support for automation work, Define/ maintain required spares
After that you have to Implement Preventive /Predictive Maintenance activities and ensure they are carried out
Again, you have to ensure predictive maintenance equipment is operational, related services are in place and activities are carried out. Ensure compliance to local regulations and obtain necessary approvals
Furthermore, you have to define scope of work for major turnaround, ensure availability of required material and services for automation, Initiate engineering management of change process for modifications
You have to support the execution of the modifications from Alerts, LFRE and directives; Update and maintain as-built
drawings
Winning in your role. Do you have what it takes?
You have a Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Information Technology or Process
Automation
You should have experience four to seven (4 to 7) years in a related process plant Instrument & Process Control maintenance or engineering role
You should have experience of using Computerized Maintenance Management System preferably SAP PM or EAM.
