Your future duties and responsibilities
Must Have Skill:
. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and deployment.
. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational processes.
. Manage cloud infrastructure and ensure high availability, scalability, and security of applications.
. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure reliability.
. Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and application performance.
. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and maintain version-controlled infrastructure.
. Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards.
. Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and disaster recovery planning.
. Maintain system documentation, operational runbooks, and deployment procedures.
. Stay up to date with emerging DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and industry best practices.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
. Extensive experience in DevOps engineering, automation, and cloud infrastructure management for enterprise-scale applications.
. Strong proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps Pipelines, or GitHub Actions for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including compute, networking, storage, and security services.
. Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and OpenShift.
. Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM Templates for automated infrastructure provisioning.
. Proficient in configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
. Experienced in source code management and version control using Git, GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
. Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration, shell scripting (Bash), and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
. Experience implementing monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK Stack, Datadog, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace.
. Expertise in managing networking, load balancing, DNS, SSL/TLS certificates, firewalls, and cloud security best practices.
. Experience with artifact repositories and package management tools such as Nexus, JFrog Artifactory, or Docker Registry.
. Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices, vulnerability management, and security tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, Snyk, Aqua Security, or Prisma Cloud.
. Experience with high-availability architectures, backup strategies, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity processes.
. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
. Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis skills in production environments. Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd.
Good-to-Have Skills:
. Knowledge of serverless architectures and cloud-native application development.
. Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or other messaging and event-streaming platforms.
. Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices.
. Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization strategies.
. Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure deployment and MLOps practices.
. Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Terraform Associate.
. Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments..
