Full job description

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Academic Coordinator to lead RainbowRays Pre-School in Gollahalli (near Electronic City, Phase 1) who is responsible for overseeing and coordinating various activities or functions within the school to ensure smooth operations and effective implementation of education programs.

What you’ll do:

Counsel and clarify doubts of the parent on admission as per the policies and procedures.
Responsible for school admission and operations in making decisions for school programs.
Take part to build our brand for a blended teaching environment.
Maintain good relationship with parents to understand the parents needs and cater to their requirements.
Take student classes whenever required or in absence of teacher.
Regularly interact, guide and conduct demo sessions for teachers and other required staff for day-to-day smooth working.
Give feedback received from teachers related to materials/planners.
Generate MIS Reports on a periodic basis and maintain the registers as prescribed
Maintain discipline and ensure standard operating procedures are followed.
Conduct Surprise checks and audits
Ensure Implementation of HR Policies and Processes as per school guidelines in relation to Appraisal, Induction, Recruitments, Transfers, Joining and Exit, in coordination with the Administrator.
Necessary arrangements must be made to ensure appropriate distribution of notebooks and textbooks to the students.
Ensure that any problem on the floor related to the classroom, staffrooms, washrooms, electricity, furniture, cleanliness, Boards, lockers, equipment in labs, etc. are addressed and resolved on time and the same has been maintained in the register.
Work closely with School Administrator and help with all aspect of school program / curriculum development and delivery.
Contribute towards setting of Academic Calendar
Should plan/Organize /Coordinate all the events such as Parent Orientation, PTM, Field Trips, Sports Day, Annual Concert, Special Events, Extracurricular activities, culminating activities and all Competitions as per the guidelines and year / monthly plan.
Coordinate and attend Parents' Appointments and queries as required.
Points discussed during the meetings held with Parents should be recorded and acknowledgement of the same is to be taken from the Parent and updated to the Teacher about it.
Ensure the Parents are informed in case of any specific incident, health issues and the progress of the child.

Work timings: 8 hrs (Mon-Fri) & 3 hrs (Sat)

What you’ll bring:

Graduate with NTT/Early childhood diploma preferably B.Ed in Any Specialization
Minimum 4 years of Teaching experience
Preferably minimum 1 year of experience in a Supervisory role
Good Communication skills (Fluent English and Kannada). Strong Interpersonal Skills
Should be super comfortable with kids, having compassion and patience
Presentable and need to convince Parents
Situational Adaptability, Proactive, Ethical, and Responsible nature
Ability to Multitask and good in Time management.
Having Leadership skills
