Graun is a fast-growing tech startup building a restaurant ordering platform for India and the UK markets. We help restaurants increase orders, improve customer experience, and grow revenue through a simple digital system.
We are expanding rapidly and building a field team to onboard restaurant partners across local markets.
Role Summary
We are looking for a Business Development Intern – Restaurant Partnerships (Field Sales) who will be responsible for visiting restaurants, speaking directly with owners/managers, and onboarding them onto the Graun platform.
This is a fully field-based role with structured daily targets and territory assignments. You will be actively meeting restaurant owners in person and driving signups.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit assigned restaurants in your allocated territory daily
- Meet restaurant owners and explain Graun’s platform
- Handle objections and convert leads into signups
- Maintain follow-ups via phone and WhatsApp
- Achieve daily and weekly restaurant onboarding targets
- Log visits and updates in the reporting system
- Work closely with the team to improve conversion strategy
How the Work System Works
You will be given:
- A fixed territory/area to work in
- A daily list of recommended restaurants
- A clear signup target per week
You will have flexibility to decide the order of visits based on real-world conditions (availability, timing, opportunity).
This ensures structure + on-ground freedom.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi
- Comfortable with daily field work and travel
- Confident speaking with restaurant owners and staff
- Ability to handle rejection and stay consistent
- Interest in sales, startups, or business development
- Smartphone required for reporting and communication
- Freshers or candidates with 0–1 year experience preferred
Preferred Backgrounds:
- BBA / B.Com / BA students or graduates
- MBA (Marketing) interns
- Candidates with any field sales experience (telecom, fintech, food delivery, etc.)
Compensation
- ₹5,000 – ₹10,000 monthly stipend (fixed support)
- ₹300 – ₹800 per successful restaurant onboarding (uncapped incentives)
- Weekly payouts based on performance
- Performance bonuses for high achievers
Earning Potential
- Average performers: ₹10,000 – ₹20,000/month
- Strong performers: ₹25,000 – ₹50,000+ per month (through incentives)
There is no upper limit to earnings.
