E-commerce Executive (Product Listing & Marketplace Operations)

Location: Mohali
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹32,000 per month
Experience: 1–3 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented E-commerce Executive to manage product listings, catalog operations, inventory updates, and marketplace activities across major online platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Myntra, Ajio, Shopify, and other marketplaces.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate product uploads, optimizing listings, maintaining catalog health, coordinating inventory updates, and supporting marketplace growth initiatives. Similar responsibilities are commonly listed in ecommerce executive roles on Indeed.

Key Responsibilities :

Product Listing & Catalog Management

Create and upload product listings on Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Myntra, Ajio, Shopify, and other marketplaces.
Manage product titles, descriptions, bullet points, specifications, attributes, and images.
Perform bulk uploads using Excel sheets and flat files.
Create parent-child variations and SKU structures.
Ensure category mapping and product compliance.
Update pricing, offers, and promotional details regularly.
Monitor and resolve listing errors, suppressed listings, and catalog issues.

Marketplace Operations

Handle day-to-day marketplace management.
Manage Seller Central and marketplace dashboards.
Coordinate product launches and new catalog uploads.
Monitor account health and listing quality.
Maintain product visibility and marketplace standards.

Inventory & Order Management

Update stock levels across marketplaces.
Prevent stock-outs and overselling.
Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams.
Track order processing, returns, exchanges, and refunds.
Ensure smooth fulfillment operations.

SEO & Listing Optimization

Conduct keyword research.
Optimize product titles, descriptions, and backend keywords.
Improve listing visibility and conversion rates.
Analyze competitor listings and marketplace trends.
Enhance A+ Content and product page quality.

Reporting & Analytics

Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
Track listing performance and conversion rates.
Analyze marketplace growth opportunities.
Prepare inventory and catalog performance reports.
Use Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Required Skills

Experience with Amazon Seller Central
Flipkart Seller Hub knowledge
Product listing and catalog management
Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas)
Bulk uploads and flat file management
Marketplace operations
Inventory management
SEO for ecommerce listings
Shopify backend management
Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Preferred Skills

Experience with Myntra, Ajio, Meesho, Walmart, eBay, or other marketplaces
Knowledge of Amazon A+ Content
Basic Canva or Photoshop skills
Experience handling marketplace advertisements
Understanding of D2C ecommerce operations

Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business, Marketing, or related field
1–3 years of ecommerce marketplace experience
