What would you do? We are looking for a highly skilled Senior HTML Developer & QA Specialist with deep expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end development, testing, and quality assurance of HTML email campaigns and CloudPages. You will collaborate closely with designers, marketing managers, and CRM strategists to deliver pixel-perfect, cross-client-compatible digital experiences. In a Marketing Operations job profile, responsibilities include managing and optimizing marketing processes and systems. Roles and Responsibilities: Email Development: Build, maintain, and optimise responsive HTML email templates for SFMC campaigns — including promotional, transactional, triggered, and journey-based emails. Develop and manage CloudPages including landing pages, microsites, profile centre pages, and subscription centres using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Write clean, standards-compliant HTML/CSS with a strong focus on email client rendering compatibility (Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, Samsung Mail, Yahoo, etc.). Implement and maintain reusable modular template components within Content Builder. Ensure pixel-perfect translation of design mockups (Figma, Adobe XD, PSD) into production-ready email and web code. AMP script & Personalisation: Write and debug AMPscript for dynamic content, personalisation, conditional logic, and data-driven rendering within emails and CloudPages. Utilise SSJS (Server-Side JavaScript) for advanced CloudPage logic including form handling, data capture, and API interactions. Integrate Data Extensions, Lookup functions, and attribute references to drive personalised communication at scale. JavaScript & jQuery: Develop client-side interactions on CloudPages using JavaScript and jQuery, including form validation, dynamic content loading, and user journey flows. Debug and resolve JavaScript errors across various browser environments using browser DevTools. Implement tracking scripts (GA4, GTM, custom pixels) on CloudPages as required. QA & Email Testing Conduct thorough QA and cross-client testing of all email builds using Email on Acid and/or Litmus, covering 90+ email clients and devices. Perform functional testing of AMPscript logic, personalisation tokens, dynamic content blocks, and fallback scenarios. Validate form submissions, query strings, and data capture flows on CloudPages end-toend. Debug rendering issues across Outlook versions (2013–2021/365), Gmail (web/app), iOS Mail, and dark mode environments. Test and validate responsive breakpoints across mobile, tablet, and desktop views. Maintain and manage a QA checklist and bug-tracking log for each campaign cycle. Identify, document, and follow up on defects with developers or stakeholders using tools such as Jira, Asana, or similar. Form Debugging & Data Integrity: Debug and test CloudPage forms: including field validation, error handling, submission routing, and confirmation flows. Validate data flowing from form submissions into SFMC Data Extensions, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Troubleshoot issues related to query strings, hidden fields, UTM parameters, and data capture discrepancies.
