As a Workday Technical Senior Consultant, you will work alongside strategic advisors, functional specialists, and technical architects to deliver large-scale transformation programs that improve business performance and enable sustainable growth.
Within this team, you will support clients through complex Workday implementations and enhancements by bringing together technical design, integration expertise, process understanding, and delivery discipline. With Deloitte’s industry depth and collaborative approach, you will help organizations modernize their operations and navigate enterprise transformation with confidence.
Level: Senior Consultant or equivalent
As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting Services, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.
Work you'll do
As a Senior Consultant, Technical Transformation on the Enterprise Performance team, you will be responsible for:
- Lead the implementation of Workday technical integrations and Workday Financial Management solutions by analyzing client requirements and supporting solution design, configuration, build, testing, and deployment activities.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical deliverables, including integrations, custom reports, and supporting artifacts aligned to client needs.
- Support all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, estimation, planning, execution, defect resolution, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to manage deliverables, monitor progress, and support timely, high-quality execution across project workstreams.
- Guide onsite resources and junior team members in configuration, testing, and issue resolution to support successful project outcomes.

The Emerging ERP Solutions offering provides advice, planning, and implementation of Cloud ERP solutions like Workday, MS Dynamics and Infor, featuring built-in industry-specific capabilities. The USI team plays a crucial role throughout the entire engagement lifecycle, from initial pursuits to final delivery. Specializing in Financials and Supply Chain transformations, the team also implements Adaptive Planning Solutions across various industries. Their deep expertise in both technology and domain ensures effective, tailored solutions that drive value and operational excellence for clients.
Location: Bengaluru / Hyderabad / Pune / Chennai
Qualifications
Required:
- 6-10 years of consulting or industry experience in enterprise resource planning (ERP), finance transformation, or enterprise applications
- Experience with at least 1 end-to-end ERP implementation
- Experience with at least 1 financial ERP platform, such as Oracle Financials, Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft Financials, SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO), or Workday Financials
- Experience supporting 1 or more finance business processes, such as procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, general ledger, fixed asset management, budgeting, or grants and awards
- Experience applying financial accounting principles in ERP, finance systems, or finance transformation projects
- Experience creating process flows, solution documentation, or presentation materials using Microsoft Visio and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, Master of Computer Applications, Master of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent degree from an accredited university
Preferred:
- Active Workday certification
- Experience with Workday Financial Management
- Experience designing, building, or testing integrations in cloud Software as a Service (SaaS) or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments
- Master’s degree in finance or master’s degree with finance coursework
