Test Engineer Intern

Location: Remote-first (Global)

Your Next Career Move

As a Test Engineer Intern, you'll work alongside experienced QA engineers, developers, product managers, and designers to help ensure our platform delivers a high-quality experience to customers worldwide. You'll gain practical experience in software testing, automation, Agile development, and modern cloud-based applications.

Responsibilities

Assist in creating and executing test cases for web applications and APIs.
Learn and contribute to manual and automated testing efforts.
Support the QA team in identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
Help develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand feature requirements and expected behavior.
Perform regression, functional, and exploratory testing.
Assist in monitoring product quality metrics and test coverage.
Contribute ideas to improve testing processes and product quality.
Learn industry best practices in software quality assurance and test automation.

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic programming knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Understanding of software testing concepts and QA methodologies.
Familiarity with web applications and software development fundamentals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Eagerness to learn new technologies and testing tools.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress through coursework, projects, or self-learning.
Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
Experience with personal, academic, or open-source software projects.
Basic knowledge of APIs, databases, or cloud technologies is a plus.
