About Us

Valtent is a growing creator-focused social platform focused on helping creators connect, create, and grow. We are building scalable mobile experiences with modern UI/UX, real-time systems, media handling, and creator monetization features.

We are looking for an experienced Android developer who can contribute beyond basic app development — someone who understands backend systems, API architecture, databases, and UI/UX design principles.

Job Overview

We are hiring a highly skilled Senior Android App Developer who can build and maintain production-grade Android applications while also contributing to backend development and UI/UX implementation.

This is not a beginner role. We need someone who can think like a product engineer — not just write Android code.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in:

Android development
Backend/API integration
Database handling
UI/UX implementation
Performance optimization
Scalable application architecture

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-performance Android applications using Kotlin and Java
Design clean, scalable, and maintainable app architecture
Collaborate on backend systems, APIs, and database structures
Build and integrate REST APIs and real-time features
Implement responsive and modern mobile UI/UX designs
Optimize app performance, memory usage, and responsiveness
Integrate Firebase services, notifications, authentication, and analytics
Handle image/video uploads and media optimization
Work closely with product and design decisions
Debug and fix production issues efficiently
Publish and maintain apps on the Google Play Store
Write clean, reusable, and production-ready code

Required SkillsAndroid Development

Strong experience with Kotlin and Java
Deep understanding of Android SDK and Android Studio
Experience with MVVM or clean architecture
Experience with Jetpack components
Knowledge of app lifecycle and performance optimization

Backend Development

Experience with backend development (Laravel, Node.js, or similar)
Strong understanding of REST APIs and JSON
Database experience (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Firebase, etc.)
Authentication systems and API security understanding
Experience with real-time systems or WebSockets is a plus

UI/UX

Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles
Ability to implement modern and responsive designs
Experience translating Figma or design files into production UI
Attention to spacing, typography, animations, and usability

Additional

Firebase experience
Git/GitHub version control
Problem-solving and debugging skills
Play Store deployment experience

Preferred Experience

Experience building social media or creator-focused platforms
Experience with video/image processing
Knowledge of scalable backend systems
Experience with payment gateways or subscription systems
Familiarity with cloud services and CI/CD pipelines
