We are looking for SAP Business Analyst for User Administration, Roles & Privileges who is responsible to design, implement and maintain a concept for access roles and system security which complies to internal & external regulations, by using SAP & IT Governance Best Practices. Beside conceptual affairs, he/she administrates user master, configures menus, designs authorization roles and is in charge to assign/revoke privileges & profiles for users in the SAP S/4 system.
The SAP Business Analyst assigned to the described security role works closely with Process Owners, Business Process Engineers, SAP Business Analysts, System Owners of related systems, Auditors, Internal Controls as well as other stakeholders
Your Responsibilities:

Understand business requirements and internal & external regulatory rules concerning system security, roles & privileges

Work closely with Process Engineers, Subject Matter Experts from business and the Compliance Office in order to translate their requirements into auditable SAP authorizations and processes, close to SAP standard and best practices

Definition and documentation of an authorization concept to achieve adequate assignment of privileges & roles related to SAP Organizational Units, reflecting job profiles, business processes and the organizational setup of TSS

Implementation of an authorization concept under consideration of SoD aspects (segregation of duties), critical transactions and authorization objects, as well as sensitive data

Design of workflows and procedures in the area of access privileges and roles management such as user onboarding, user offboarding and periodic access review
-
Implementation of the authorization concept by using SAP tools, e.g. PFCG (profile generator), and maintenance of the PFCG authorization proposals
-
Ensure usage of the authorization concept in daily operations, monitor compliance and carry out risk analysis on an ongoing basis
-
Configure menues, roles and privileges in the SAP systems, and assign them to users in a central user administration (CUA) and single-sign-on (SSO) environment

Own the transport of roles & profiles from DEV through QA to PROD, considering variations in these systems as defined in the concept
-
Create authorization objects and fields, and ensure adequate usage in custom development
-
Consult business and project teams in terms of authorization design and principles
-
Perform authorization traces for end users, technical users and communication users, and support & train Business Analysts in doing so

Execution of IT internal controls self-assessments, as well as preparation & participation in compliance audits and follow up on corrective actions

Support SAP license audits

Work closely with SAP base administration and IT Project Management Office to coordinate/support technical implementation, and align user setup activities with authorization affairs

Analyse the impact of Support/Enhancement Package installation in advance, and address issues for the authorization concept in good time
-
Work jointly in project teams with user representatives, implementation partners and other IT staff
-
Support colleagues and users during the various test-phases for systems & applications

Sign-off release into quality and into production together with business, Process Engineers and Technical Services
What You'll Bring

Strong knowledge in governance, risk and compliance subjects and the course of compliance audits

Degree in an IT related discipline e.g. Informatics, Business and Information Technology or equivalent

Experience in the design of an authorization concept and the matters it concerns
-
Background in SAP ERP user, roles & privileges setup/maintenance is a must, ideally gained in an SAP S/4 environment
-
Knowledge of the SAP ERP processes and Fiori technical setup and related authorization concept
-
Basic knowledge in ABAP development and ABAP dictionary
-
Understanding of the various SAP concepts for a central user administration
-
Well versed on application lifecycles – particularly concerning the transport of roles & privileges from DEV to PROD and potential impacts of Support/Enhancement Packages
-
Strong understanding of the SAP software toolset and familiar with SAP Systems concepts, practices, and procedures
-
Fluent in English language (e.g. French, German, Italian, Spanish, etc.)
