Qualification
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering
- ITI (Machinist, Turner, Tool & Die Maker, CNC Programmer, Fitter) with relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in VMC and HMC machining operations, setting, and programming
- Experience in Mazatrol programming is mandatory
Experience Required
- 5+ years in CNC machining environment
- Experience in VMC and HMC machine setup, programming, and production
- Knowledge of machining ferrous and non-ferrous materials, castings, forgings, and fabricated components
- Exposure to precision engineering, automotive, pump, valve, compressor, oil & gas, and general engineering components preferred
Job Summary
Responsible for programming, setting, proving out, and optimizing VMC and HMC machines using Mazatrol and G-code programming. Ensure production targets, quality requirements, and machine utilization are achieved while minimizing cycle time, tooling costs, and rejection.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesProgramming Responsibilities
- Create and modify CNC programs using Mazatrol conversational programming.
- Generate and edit G-code programs as required.
- Develop machining processes for new components.
- Select suitable machining strategies for productivity improvement.
- Optimize cycle times and machining sequences.
- Prepare setup sheets and process instructions.
- Conduct prove-out of new programs and processes.
- Troubleshoot program-related machining issues.
Machine Setting Responsibilities
- Perform complete machine setup for VMC and HMC machines.
- Fixture mounting, alignment, and verification.
- Tool loading, tool offset setting, and tool life management.
- Establish work offsets and machine datum points.
- Conduct first-piece inspection before production release.
- Ensure machine readiness for production.
Production Responsibilities
- Achieve daily production targets.
- Monitor machine performance and utilization.
- Reduce setup time and machine downtime.
- Support operators during production runs.
- Ensure continuous production with minimum interruptions.
- Maintain production records and shift reports.
Quality Responsibilities
- Verify dimensions using measuring instruments.
- Ensure components meet customer drawings and specifications.
- Perform in-process inspections.
- Analyze and correct dimensional deviations.
- Reduce rejection and rework levels.
- Support customer and internal quality audits.
Tooling Responsibilities
- Select suitable cutting tools and inserts.
- Recommend tooling improvements for productivity enhancement.
- Monitor tool wear and optimize tool life.
- Coordinate with tooling suppliers when required.
- Maintain tooling inventory and records.
Process Improvement Responsibilities
- Improve machining cycle times.
- Implement cost reduction initiatives.
- Develop new fixtures and tooling concepts.
- Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives.
Maintenance & Safety Responsibilities
- Perform daily machine health checks.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for breakdowns.
- Follow safety standards and PPE requirements.
- Ensure proper housekeeping around machines.
- Comply with ISO and company procedures.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
