Full job description

Provis Technologies is hiring a Business Development Associate – Upwork Bidding & Proposal Writing for our Jaipur office.

This role is suitable for freshers or candidates with basic experience in business development, proposal writing, lead generation, or online bidding.

The selected candidate will be trained to search IT projects on Upwork and similar platforms, understand client requirements, write customized proposals, submit bids, follow up with prospects, and maintain proposal records.

We are looking for someone who is serious, organized, willing to learn, good at written English, and comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude for proposal writing and research support.

Key Responsibilities

Search for relevant IT projects on Upwork and similar freelance platforms.
Read project descriptions and understand basic client requirements.
Shortlist projects related to website development, web applications, eCommerce development, SaaS, automation, AI solutions, and custom software development.
Write clear and customized Upwork proposals with guidance from the team.
Avoid generic copy-paste proposals and learn how to write proposal content based on the client’s requirement.
Coordinate with developers, designers, and project managers when technical input is needed.
Submit proposals on Upwork using the proper format and structure.
Track submitted proposals, responses, follow-ups, and client communication status.
Follow up with interested prospects professionally.
Use AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude to improve proposal quality, understand requirements, and research clients.
Research client profiles, company websites, and project relevance before submitting proposals.
Maintain proposal records, bidding tracker, response status, follow-up status, and notes in Google Sheets or CRM tools.
Share daily bidding summary before EOD.

Required Skills

Fresher or 0–1 year of experience in business development, lead generation, proposal writing, online bidding, or IT sales support.
Good written communication skills in English.
Basic understanding of websites, web applications, mobile apps, eCommerce platforms, SaaS, automation, and AI solutions.
Ability to understand client requirements and write simple, clear proposals.
Willingness to learn Upwork bidding and IT proposal writing.
Comfortable using ChatGPT, Claude, or similar AI tools.
Basic knowledge of Google Sheets, Google Docs, email, WhatsApp, and online research.
Organized, detail-oriented, consistent, and target-focused.
Ability to coordinate with internal teams and ask questions when clarity is needed.

Preferred Skills

Basic knowledge of Upwork, Freelancer, LinkedIn, or other lead generation platforms.
Internship or project experience in business development, sales, marketing, or content writing.
Basic knowledge of IT services such as WordPress, Shopify, Laravel, WooCommerce, SaaS, automation, or AI-based solutions.
Ability to write simple and professional English content.
Interest in IT sales, proposal writing, and client communication.
Ability to maintain records properly in Google Sheets or CRM tools.
