Job Description – Social Media Marketing Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, proactive, and result-oriented Social Media Marketing Executive to manage and grow the social media presence of our brands. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in content planning, social media management, influencer marketing, and creating engaging content for FMCG/D2C brands.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily social media activities across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
Develop and execute a monthly social media content calendar.
Create engaging content ideas for Reels, posts, stories, carousels, and campaigns.
Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, photographers, and internal teams for content creation.
Write engaging captions, hooks, CTAs, and social media copy.
Plan and execute brand campaigns, product launches, festive campaigns, and promotional activities.
Monitor social media trends, viral content, hashtags, and competitor activities.
Identify opportunities to increase reach, engagement, followers, and brand awareness.
Manage and coordinate with influencers and creators for collaborations.
Handle influencer outreach, campaign coordination, deliverables, and performance tracking.
Monitor comments, DMs, mentions, and customer interactions and coordinate with the customer-care team wherever required.
Track and analyse social media performance using platform insights and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
Work closely with the E-commerce and Marketing teams to support sales campaigns and product promotions.
Coordinate social media content for Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, and other marketplaces wherever required.
Stay updated with the latest social media algorithms, trends, tools, and content formats.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and social media marketing.
Good understanding of Reels, short-form video content, storytelling, and content strategy.
Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
Basic knowledge of Canva and/or other creative tools.
Understanding of influencer marketing and creator collaborations.
Ability to analyse social media insights and performance metrics.
Creative thinking with a strong understanding of FMCG/D2C audiences.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and ownership of assigned work.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in social media marketing, preferably with an FMCG, D2C, Food, Beverage, Wellness, or Lifestyle brand.
Candidates with a strong portfolio of social media work will be preferred.

Growth in followers and organic reach.
Engagement rate and content performance.
Reel views and content reach.
Influencer campaign performance.
Website/product-page traffic generated through social media.
Successful execution of campaigns and content calendar.
Improvement in overall brand visibility and engagement.
