Full job description

Are you an accounting professional with experience in UK acct the Roleounting, taxation, and client management? If you enjoy taking ownership, working directly with clients, and handling diverse UK accounting activities, this could be a great opportunity for you.

In this role, you will manage the accounting and taxation workflow for your assigned UK business clients and act as their first point of contact. You will work closely with the accounting team, review their work, resolve client queries, and ensure that all deliverables are completed accurately and within the agreed timelines.

This is a role where you can strengthen your UK accounting expertise, client communication, team management, and technical knowledge while working on a variety of UK entities.

Roles & responsibilities :-

Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting activities for assigned UK clients.
Review accounting and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and quality.
Handle weekly/monthly bookkeeping and VAT returns.
Prepare year-end accounts for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, and Sole Traders.
Prepare Company Tax Returns, Personal Tax Returns, and Partnership Tax Returns.
Communicate directly with clients through email and phone whenever required.
Take ownership of client queries and ensure timely resolution within agreed TATs.
Ensure all work is completed in line with defined SLAs and quality standards.
Review and coordinate the work performed by accountants.
Support and train new team members whenever required.
Understand processes and contribute to creating and maintaining detailed SOPs.

Requirements :-

Commerce/Accounting graduate or CA Inter.
2–5 years of relevant experience in a KPO, accounting firm, or Chartered Accountant firm.
Strong understanding of accounting concepts and UK accounting/taxation practices.
Good communication skills with the confidence to interact directly with clients.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and take ownership of assigned client work.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate work on time.

Technical Skills :-

Experience with any of the following accounting and taxation platforms will be an advantage:
