About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Dynamics 365 Field Service Consultant / Lead to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service solutions across enterprise environments. This role requires strong expertise in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, business process transformation, field service operations, and stakeholder management.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, project managers, and development teams to deliver scalable and innovative field service solutions that enhance workforce productivity, scheduling efficiency, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end Dynamics 365 Field Service implementations, upgrades, and support engagements.
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solution designs.
Design and configure Dynamics 365 Field Service modules, including:
Work Orders
Inspections
Scheduling & Dispatching
Resource Scheduling Optimization (RSO)
Asset Management
Inventory Management
Agreements and Preventive Maintenance
Mobile Workforce Solutions
Configure Field Service mobile applications for field technicians and operational teams.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve field service processes and customer service operations.
Lead workshops, solution demonstrations, and requirement-gathering sessions.
Design integration solutions between Dynamics 365 and enterprise applications using APIs, Azure Integration Services, and Power Platform.
Develop and review solution architecture, data models, workflows, and automation processes.
Provide leadership and technical guidance to consultants, developers, and support teams.
Ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices, governance standards, and security requirements.
Support data migration, testing, deployment, and post-production activities.
Manage system enhancements, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work closely with project managers to deliver projects within scope, budget, and timelines.
Prepare functional specifications, solution design documents, user guides, and training materials.
Conduct user training sessions and facilitate user adoption activities.
Participate in pre-sales activities, solution estimations, and proposal development when required.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions.
5+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Field Service.
Strong experience configuring and customizing Dynamics 365 Field Service modules.
Deep understanding of field service management processes and operations.
Experience with:
Work Orders
Scheduling Board
Resource Scheduling Optimization (RSO)
Connected Field Service
Asset Management
Preventive Maintenance
Inventory Management
Service Agreements
Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform:
Power Apps
Power Automate
Power BI
Dataverse
Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with third-party systems and enterprise applications.
Knowledge of Azure services including:
Azure Functions
Logic Apps
Service Bus
API Management
Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 security models, roles, and governance.
Experience in Agile and Scrum delivery environments.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
Experience leading teams and mentoring junior consultants.

Preferred Experience

Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Service and Power Platform Center of Excellence.
Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot and AI capabilities within Dynamics 365.
Experience working in Utilities, Telecommunications, Government, Healthcare, Construction, Asset Management, or Field Operations environments.
Experience with enterprise-scale digital transformation programs.
Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release management processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications highly desirable.
Microsoft Power Platform certifications preferred.
Azure certifications are advantageous.
