Car Mechanic / Automotive Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Car Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of automotive systems, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and performance issues.
Diagnose faults using specialized diagnostic equipment and tools.
Repair and replace defective parts, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical components.
Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements.
Conduct vehicle safety inspections and road tests.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and services performed.
Communicate repair recommendations and vehicle conditions to customers or service advisors.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and workshop procedures.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification or vocational training in automotive technology preferred.
Proven experience as a car mechanic or automotive technician.
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques.
Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Physical ability to lift heavy parts and work in various positions.
Valid driver's license preferred.
