Job Title: Purchase Executive – Pharma

Location: Ghaziabad
Experience: Minimum 1+ Year (Pharmaceutical Industry Experience Mandatory)
Salary: As per experience and interview performance

Job Overview

We are looking for a Purchase Executive with experience in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of pharmaceutical products, medicine names, formulations, packaging materials, cartons, labels, and related documentation.

While prior experience in procurement or purchasing is preferred, it is not mandatory, candidates must have worked in a pharmaceutical company and possess strong knowledge of pharma products and packaging.

The role involves procuring pharmaceutical products and packaging materials, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely procurement while maintaining accurate documentation.

Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Vendor Management

Manage the procurement of pharmaceutical products, packaging materials, and other related supplies.
Source, evaluate, communicate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
Ensure timely availability of materials as per business requirements.
Maintain accurate purchase records and procurement documentation.
Compare quotations and assist in vendor selection to ensure cost-effective purchasing.

Pharma Product Knowledge

Good knowledge of medicine names, formulations, cartons, packaging materials, labels, and artwork.
Verify product specifications and ensure compliance with packaging and labeling requirements.
Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors regarding product specifications and delivery schedules.

Documentation & Coordination

Prepare and maintain purchase orders (POs), invoices, vendor records, and related documentation.
Coordinate with internal departments such as Sales, Marketing, Warehouse, QA, and Accounts to understand procurement requirements.
Ensure accuracy in product details, quantities, pricing, and documentation.

Inventory Support

Monitor inventory levels and assist in procurement planning to prevent stock shortages or excess inventory.
Maintain organized records of purchased materials and vendor information.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in the pharmaceutical industry (mandatory).
Good knowledge of medicine names, formulations, packaging materials, cartons, labels, and pharmaceutical documentation.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
Strong negotiation, coordination, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records.

Preferred Skills

Experience in procurement, vendor coordination, or supply chain operations.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical packaging and labeling requirements.
Basic understanding of inventory management and ERP systems (if applicable).
Familiarity with GST documentation and purchase-related compliance is an added advantage.
