Immediate Requirement – Multiple Positions
Position: Field sales and Marketing Intern
Employment Type: Internship – Full-Time / Field-Based
Qualification: MBA/PGDM students – Marketing / Sales / Healthcare Management preferred
Location: Bengaluru
Reporting To: Sales Supervisor / Business Development Manager

About the Role

We are looking for MBA/PGDM interns with a strong interest in Sales and Business Development to join our field sales team focused on Dermatology and Aesthetic Clinics.

The intern will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities with dermatologists, aesthetic physicians, cosmetologists, skin clinics and aesthetic centres. The role is highly target-driven, with performance-based incentives linked to individual sales achievement.

This is an ideal opportunity for candidates who want hands-on experience in B2B healthcare sales, doctor engagement, territory management, lead generation and business development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Dermatology & Aesthetic Clinic Visits

Identify dermatology clinics, aesthetic clinics, skin clinics and aesthetic centres within the assigned territory.
Conduct regular field visits to dermatologists, aesthetic physicians and clinic decision-makers.
Introduce and explain the company's products, product benefits and commercial offerings.
Develop professional relationships with doctors, clinic owners, procurement teams and other relevant stakeholders.
Understand clinic requirements and identify suitable business opportunities.
Present products professionally and communicate their relevant benefits to prospective customers.
Maintain regular follow-ups with clinics after initial meetings and product presentations.

2. Lead Generation & Business Development

Generate new leads through field visits, referrals, market mapping, networking and local market research.
Identify high-potential dermatology and aesthetic clinics within the assigned territory.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline of prospective customers.
Convert qualified leads into customers and product orders.
Develop new accounts and expand the company's customer base.
Identify opportunities for repeat orders and long-term business relationships.
Follow up with prospective customers regularly to improve lead-to-order conversion.
Collect relevant market information and identify new business opportunities.

3. Sales, Target Achievement & Incentives

Achieve the assigned monthly sales/revenue targets for the designated territory.
Work toward daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
Generate product orders from dermatology clinics, aesthetic clinics, skin clinics and aesthetic centres.
Focus on both new customer acquisition and repeat business.
Maintain regular follow-ups to maximize conversions and sales.
Track individual sales performance against the assigned monthly target.
The intern will receive an incentive equivalent to 10% of the total sales achieved by the individual, subject to the company's applicable incentive and payment-realization policy.
Consistently work toward exceeding the assigned sales targets and maximizing earning potential through performance.
Participate in regular sales reviews with the supervisor/management team.

4. Customer Relationship & Territory Management

Identify and develop relationships with dermatologists, aesthetic physicians, cosmetologists, clinic owners, procurement teams and other relevant decision-makers.
Maintain regular communication and follow-up with existing and prospective clinic customers.
Understand customer requirements, purchasing patterns and business opportunities.
Develop new accounts and generate repeat business within the assigned territory.
Map the assigned territory and identify high-potential dermatology and aesthetic clinics.
Plan daily field visits and routes to maximize productive customer interactions.
Maintain an updated database of clinics, doctors, leads, orders and follow-ups.
Gather customer feedback and communicate market requirements to the internal team.
Monitor competitor activity and provide relevant market insights to the supervisor.
Identify areas and clinics with high business potential and prioritize them accordingly.

5. Sales Reporting & Documentation

Submit daily field visit and sales activity reports.
Maintain accurate records of customer visits, leads, meetings, follow-ups and orders.
Update the sales pipeline regularly.
Track the status of leads from initial contact through conversion.
Maintain accurate customer and clinic databases.
Report daily/weekly sales performance to the reporting manager.
Share customer feedback, market observations and competitor information with the internal team.
Ensure all sales-related documentation is completed accurately and on time.

6. Order & Payment Coordination

Coordinate with customers and the internal team for order processing.
Obtain Purchase Orders (POs) or other required order confirmations from customers, as applicable.
Coordinate with the internal team for preparation of Proforma Invoices (PIs).
Follow the company's approved process for order confirmation and product/stock release.
Coordinate with the relevant team regarding order status and delivery.
Follow up on outstanding payments as required.
Ensure that sales incentives are calculated based on eligible sales as per company policy.
