HR Recruiter – Garment / Apparel Industry

Location: Sakinaka Mumbai
Job Type: Full-time
Industry: Garment / Apparel Manufacturing

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented HR Recruiter with experience in the garment/apparel industry. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment, sourcing suitable candidates for factory and office positions, coordinating interviews, and supporting onboarding activities.

Key Responsibilities

Handle end-to-end recruitment for garment manufacturing and apparel operations.
Source candidates through job portals, social media, references, and consultants.
Screen resumes and conduct initial HR interviews.
Coordinate interviews with department heads and factory managers.
Manage bulk hiring for production, tailoring, merchandising, quality control, and support staff.
Maintain candidate databases and recruitment reports.
Ensure timely closure of open positions.
Assist in employee onboarding and joining formalities.
Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for future hiring needs.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of recruitment and talent acquisition.
Experience in bulk hiring and factory recruitment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with job portals such as Naukri, Indeed, and LinkedIn.
Basic knowledge of HR processes and documentation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
1–4 years of recruitment experience, preferably in garment/apparel/textile industry.
Experience hiring for production and factory roles is preferred.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
