Aerobot Labs is a drone technology company involved in DGCA-approved drone pilot training, drone engineering, custom drone development, drone sales, and Drone as a Service operations. The company works with students, colleges, institutions, enterprises, and industry clients to deliver practical drone training, workshops, drone-based services, and drone technology solutions.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Executive who can identify, approach, and convert college, institutional, and enterprise clients for Aerobot Labs’ training, drone service, and drone sales verticals.
The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, conducting client meetings, creating proposals, following up with decision-makers, and closing business opportunities across RPTO training, college workshops, Drone as a Service projects, and drone product sales.
Key Responsibilities1. College and Institutional Business Development
- Approach colleges, universities, polytechnics, engineering institutions, and training centres for drone-related programs.
- Secure agreements for drone pilot training, drone workshops, internships, seminars, and skill development programs.
- Coordinate with placement cells, HODs, principals, management teams, and student coordinators.
- Build long-term institutional partnerships for recurring training batches and workshops.
- Present Aerobot Labs’ RPTO training, drone engineering courses, and workshop offerings professionally.
2. Enterprise Client Development
- Identify and approach enterprise clients requiring drone services, drone training, or drone-based technical solutions.
- Generate business opportunities in sectors such as agriculture, solar, infrastructure, real estate, surveillance, inspection, mapping, and industrial services.
- Understand client requirements and coordinate internally to prepare suitable solutions.
- Follow up with enterprise clients and convert enquiries into confirmed orders.
3. RPTO Training Sales
- Promote DGCA-approved drone pilot training programs under Aerobot Labs.
- Generate student and institutional leads for Small and Medium category drone pilot training.
- Explain course structure, eligibility, pricing, certification process, batch schedules, and career opportunities.
- Support the sales team in converting enquiries into confirmed admissions.
4. Drone as a Service Business
- Identify opportunities for drone-based services such as aerial inspection, solar panel inspection/cleaning support, survey, mapping, agriculture spraying, event monitoring, and industrial inspections.
- Coordinate site visits, client discussions, quotations, and project requirements.
- Work with the technical team to ensure client requirements are clearly communicated.
- Track and close service orders from lead stage to payment collection.
5. Drone Sales and Product Orders
- Generate leads for drone sales, custom drone builds, drone parts, and drone-related equipment.
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate with the engineering team for technical proposals.
- Follow up on quotations, negotiate terms, and close product sales.
- Maintain client relationships for repeat orders, service contracts, and upgrades.
6. Lead Management and Reporting
- Maintain daily records of calls, meetings, follow-ups, proposals, and conversions.
- Update CRM/RPTOMS or company-provided tracking systems regularly.
- Prepare weekly reports on lead status, meetings completed, proposals sent, closures, and expected revenue.
- Achieve monthly targets for meetings, proposals, institutional partnerships, and confirmed sales.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to speak confidently with college management, HODs, enterprise clients, and decision-makers.
- Good negotiation and follow-up skills.
- Basic understanding of drones, training programs, technical products, or willingness to learn.
- Ability to generate leads through calls, visits, references, LinkedIn, email, and local networking.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented.
- Good coordination skills with internal training, operations, and engineering teams.
- Basic computer skills including Google Sheets, email, CRM tools, and proposal preparation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Aviation, or any relevant field.
- Prior experience in business development, institutional sales, education sales, technology sales, B2B sales, or training program sales.
- Experience dealing with colleges, enterprises, or government/private institutions will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of drones, aviation, robotics, edtech, or technical training will be preferred.
Performance Expectations
The Business Development Executive will be expected to:
- Generate qualified leads every week.
- Schedule and attend client meetings regularly.
- Bring institutional workshop and training opportunities.
- Convert RPTO training leads into admissions.
- Generate DaaS and drone sales opportunities.
- Maintain consistent follow-up until closure.
- Contribute directly to monthly revenue growth across all three business verticals.
Key Performance Indicators
- Number of new college/institution leads generated.
- Number of enterprise leads generated.
- Number of meetings completed.
- Number of proposals sent.
- Number of workshops or training agreements secured.
- Number of RPTO admissions supported.
- Drone sales and service order value generated.
- Monthly revenue contribution.
- Follow-up quality and CRM update discipline.
Compensation
Salary will be based on experience and performance. Incentives may be provided for confirmed training agreements, RPTO admissions, drone service orders, and drone sales closures.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
