Full job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Write clear, engaging and brand-aligned copy for ads, campaigns, social media, events, exhibitions, product launches, offline print materials and internal communication.

· Create headlines, taglines, captions, campaign lines, ad copies, brochure content, catalogue content, posters, danglers, standees, banners, leaflets, product literature and other marketing collaterals.

· Understand each brief properly and convert it into copy that supports the objective, whether it is awareness, sales, education, launch communication or event promotion.

· Develop fresh copy ideas for social media posts, carousels, ad creatives, product campaigns and brand-led content formats.

· Write short-form and long-form copy as per the requirement, while keeping the language simple, sharp and audience-friendly.

· Adapt the tone of writing for different platforms and formats such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, marketplace creatives, print ads, event panels, brochures and internal presentations.

· Collaborate closely with the design, marketing, product, sales and R&D teams to ensure the copy is factually correct and visually executable.

· Support event and expo communication, including invite messages, stall branding copy, backdrop copy, product display text, handouts and post-event communication.

· Research product benefits, consumer insights, category trends and brand references to make the copy more relevant and practical.

· Edit, refine and proofread copy before sharing it for approval. Ensure grammar, clarity, brand tone and factual accuracy.

· Submit work to seniors/concerned teams for input and approval, and incorporate feedback without losing the core idea of the copy.

· Maintain consistency in brand language, messaging, tone and writing style across all communication materials.

· Ensure limited, responsible and ethical use of GenAI, while keeping the final copy original, human-sounding and suitable for brand use.

· Understand basic copyright, claim sensitivity and promotional communication guidelines to safeguard the company from avoidable legal or brand risks.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

· Qualification:

○ Graduate in Marketing, English, Journalism, Mass Communication or related field.

○ Professional knowledge of Ayurveda is a plus.

· Communication Skills:

○ Languages: English & Hindi (spoken, written and typing). Hindi and any other languages are a plus.

○ Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills in English.

○ Ability to write in a simple, persuasive and brand-appropriate tone.

· Creative & Brand Skills:

○ Strong understanding of headlines, hooks, campaign lines, ad copy and social media copy.

○ Ability to understand design layouts and write copy that works well with visuals.

○ Basic understanding of consumer behaviour, brand positioning and marketing communication.

· Softwares & Tools:

○ Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

○ Microsoft Workspace - Outlook, Docs, Sheets, etc.

○ Understanding of ethical use of GenAI.

· Keep up to date with brand campaigns, social media trends, marketing formats and creative references.

· Ability to handle multiple briefs and meet deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Proven work experience as a Copy Writer, Creative Copywriter, Brand Copywriter or similar role.

2. Portfolio of ad copies, campaign ideas, social media content, print collaterals or brand communication work.

3. Experience in Ayurveda, healthcare, wellness, FMCG or consumer brands is an added advantage

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
