Manager, International Accounting
We have an opportunity for a Manager, International Accounting to join our Finance team, reporting to the Senior Director, Global GL & Intl. Controller. In this pivotal role, you will lead accounting, close, compliance, and audit readiness activities for a group of international entities across South Asia and/or EMEA. Collaborating closely with Tax, Treasury, Payroll, HR, FP&A, IT, and external advisors, you will help ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and scalable processes, while using automation and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, analytics, and decision support.
Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do
- Lead close activities for assigned international entities, including journals, accruals, prepaid amortization, reconciliations, and roll-forwards
- Act as the primary contact for entity close and resolve accounting, operational, and compliance issues with subsidiaries and stakeholders
- Prepare and present quarterly balance sheet flux analysis and key insights to leadership
- Review and approve journal entries and ensure alignment with US GAAP and local statutory requirements
- Oversee fixed asset close activities and deliver timely reports to internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate statutory, tax, internal, and external audits, including PBC tracking, schedule reviews, and query resolution
- Lead compliance activities, including direct and indirect tax returns, statutory reporting, secretarial matters, and related filings
- Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations and ensure balances are reviewed and settled on time
- Ensure IA/SOX controls are in place, support walkthroughs and testing, and maintain audit-ready documentation
- Drive close optimization, automation, Oracle Fusion enhancements, and AI-enabled process improvements across reporting and analysis
Be Prepared — What You Bring
- 10+ years of finance and accounting reporting experience, including 3+ years of supervisory experience
- Experience supporting global accounting operations in an SSC or COE environment
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and experience partnering with statutory auditors
- Expertise in month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, audits, tax compliance coordination, and intercompany accounting
- Proficiency with enterprise systems, preferably Oracle Fusion, and strong financial analysis skills
- Experience driving process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements
- Ability to use AI-enabled productivity and analytics tools responsibly to improve accuracy, speed, and decision support
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; master’s degree preferred
- CPA, CA, or ACCA required

One Year: Independently lead statutory and ad hoc audits for assigned entities, serve as a key contact for Oracle Fusion fixes and enhancements, drive entity-specific accounting and compliance projects, implement process improvements, and identify root causes of balance sheet issues
