We are looking for a results-driven, strategic, and experienced Business Development Manager who can own our sales pipeline, build and lead the BD team, and drive consistent revenue growth. If you have successfully managed IT sales cycles from scratch, from cold outreach to contract signing - and you understand how to build lasting client relationships, we want you on our leadership team.
Role Overview
As a Business Development Manager at Patoliya Infotech, you will play a critical leadership role in scaling our client acquisition and revenue generation. You will be responsible for defining and executing the BD strategy, managing a team of Business Development Executives, owning key accounts, and ensuring that the company consistently meets its growth targets. This is a high-impact role with direct visibility to company leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with company revenue goals
- Own the end-to-end sales process, prospecting, qualification, proposal, negotiation, closure, and handover
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of Business Development Executives - set targets, conduct reviews, and drive performance
- Identify, build, and maintain strong long-term relationships with key clients and decision-makers
- Develop and manage a healthy pipeline across platforms - LinkedIn, Upwork, Freelancer, Clutch, GoodFirms, email campaigns
- Work closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure proposals are accurate, realistic, and compelling
- Represent Patoliya Infotech in client meetings, discovery calls, negotiations, and contract discussions
- Identify new market segments, verticals, and geographies for business expansion
- Prepare and present weekly/monthly BD reports, pipeline dashboards, and performance metrics to senior leadership
- Build a strong personal and company brand on LinkedIn and other professional platforms
- Manage and nurture existing client accounts to generate repeat business and referrals
- Oversee the creation of professional proposals, contracts, presentations, and case studies
- Establish and refine outreach processes, email templates, follow-up sequences, and CRM workflows
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of proven experience in business development, IT sales, or account management in an IT services company
- Strong understanding of IT services - web development, mobile app development, custom software, UI/UX, cloud, and digital solutions
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets — must be able to share examples during interview
- Excellent leadership skills - experience in hiring, managing, mentoring, and motivating a BD team
- Expert-level communication and negotiation skills — able to confidently speak with C-level executives and decision makers
- Proficiency in lead generation platforms - LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Upwork, Freelancer, Apollo, Hunter.io, or similar
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools - HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Salesforce, or similar
- Strong proposal and presentation writing ability - can independently prepare client-ready documents
- Analytical mindset - ability to track KPIs, interpret pipeline data, and make data-driven decisions
Educational Qualification
- MBA in Marketing, Sales, or Business Administration (strongly preferred)
- OR Bachelor's degree in any field with 4+ years of relevant IT sales experience
- Certifications in Sales, CRM tools, or Digital Marketing are a strong advantage
Good to Have (Bonus Skills)
- Existing network of international clients or decision-makers in the IT industry
- Experience managing offshore IT sales for clients in the US, UK, UAE, Canada, or Australia
- Knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, and content strategies that support business development
- Experience setting up and optimizing outbound email campaigns and automation sequences
- Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Basecamp to coordinate with delivery teams
