We are looking for a visionary leader to steer our ship to the next level. We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven General Manager to oversee our daily business operations and lead our team towards sustained growth and as a leader who doesn't just look at spreadsheets, but actually knows how to close deals, build high-performing sales funnels, and jump into pitches.
1. Key Responsibilities:
· Pre-Opening Excellence: Lead and oversee the comprehensive pre-opening lifecycle of new properties, ensuring project timelines, operational readiness, and launch milestones are met flawlessly.
· Strategic Leadership: Develop, implement, and manage long-term business strategies and operational plans to achieve company goals.
· Financial Oversight: Manage the annual budget, drive P&L performance, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities to optimize revenue and cost-efficiency.
· Team Development: Lead, mentor, and coach department heads and staff; foster a high-performance, inclusive work culture that promotes accountability and professional growth.
· Performance Metrics: Establish, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to the executive leadership team.
· Compliance & Risk: Ensure all company activities comply with industry regulations, legal guidelines, and internal policies.
· P&L Ownership: Take full accountability for the company's financial performance, ensuring healthy margins and maximizing Top-Line and Bottom-Line growth.
· Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with key clients, vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders.
· Hotel Chain Management: Demonstrate the specialized knowledge required to effectively run, scale, and standardize operations across a chain of hotels.
2. Hotel Acquisition & Expansion:
· Property Collaboration & PAN India Acquisition: Drive growth strategies for property collaborations and asset acquisitions on a PAN India scale to expand the brand's national footprint. Develop strategic alliances and collaborations with hotel owners, investors, and business partners for operational growth. Evaluate property performance, location viability, operational potential, and return on investment before acquisition or collaboration.
· Due Diligence Coordination: Partner with finance, legal, and executive teams to conduct thorough operational and market due diligence on potential property acquisitions. Drive business expansion initiatives through hotel tie-ups, branded collaborations, and long-term hospitality partnerships.
· Post-Acquisition Integration: Lead the seamless transition and onboarding of acquired properties into our corporate chain framework, ensuring alignment with our operational standards and brand culture. Build and implement scalable operational frameworks for managing multi-property and chain hotel operations efficiently.
3. Operational & Brand Standards (4★ / 5★)
· Daily Operations: Oversee daily operations across multiple departments to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
· Luxury & Premium Standards: Ensure the property is operated in strict alignment with the service conduct, guest relations, and luxury standards expected of a 4-star and 5-star property.
· Cross-Functional Alignment: Connect the dots between Sales, Operations, and Finance to ensure company fulfillment matches sales promises.
4. Sales Strategy & Revenue Generation
- Frontline Sales Strategy: Design and execute actionable, aggressive local and corporate sales strategies to maximize RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room) and ARR (Average Room Rate) to expand market share and accelerate customer acquisition.
- Corporate & MICE Acquisition: Actively participate in high-stakes pitches for corporate accounts, and major MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) events to secure lucrative banquet and group booking revenue.
- Pipeline & Funnel Optimization: Audit and optimize the B2B/B2C sales pipeline—from lead generation to conversion—ensuring high efficiency and velocity.
- Yield & Revenue Management: Work closely with revenue management to optimize daily pricing strategies based on market demand, seasonal trends, and competitor analysis.
- Market Intelligence: Stay close to the ground, identifying shifting guests’ personas, competitor tactics, and new monetization avenues.
5. Corporate Correspondence & Executive Communication
- Stakeholder Reporting: Draft, review, and deliver official corporate communications, business report reviews, and performance updates to the CEO and key investors.
- Internal Alignment & Crisis Memo Management: Author company-wide announcements, policy updates, and critical organizational changes, ensuring messages are clear, motivating, and align perfectly with company culture.
- External Representation: Act as a key spokesperson for the company, overseeing external corporate relations, PR briefs, and high-level B2B communications.
6. Compliance, Licensing & Risk Management
- License Renewal Tracking: Be the face person to track license, Knowledge of local statutory compliance and licensing procedures and renewal update and related documentation for uploading and maintaining license.
- Statutory Compliance Management: Possess strong knowledge of hospitality compliances, licenses, labor laws, fire & safety norms, statutory documentation, and regulatory requirements applicable to hotel operations.
- Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all company activities comply with hospitality industry regulations, legal guidelines, and internal corporate policies.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: [10 to 12] years of leadership experience under general manager role in hospitality background. Proven experience in pre-opening and stabilization of hospitality projects. Strong exposure to luxury hospitality operations with knowledge of 4-star and 5-star service standards.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred.
Financial Acumen: Proven experience managing budgets, financial forecasting, and a full Profit and Loss (P&L) statement.
Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to lead, inspire, and manage diverse teams across various functions.
Communication: Stellar verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to executive boards and internal teams alike.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
