Role Summary
The Yield & Optimization Lead will be responsible for identifying commercial gaps, pricing opportunities, and revenue optimization initiatives across the hotel supply portfolio. The role will focus on analyzing competitiveness, inventory performance, margin opportunities, and market trends, while driving actionable tasks to commercial and contracting teams for implementation.
The position will act as a central revenue optimization function working closely with Market Managers, Contracting, Connectivity, and Business Intelligence teams to improve conversion, profitability, and marketplace competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Yield & Revenue Optimization

Monitor pricing competitiveness across hotel portfolio and destinations.
- Identify commercial gaps related to rates, inventory, promotions, and availability.
- Drive yield optimization initiatives to improve conversion and revenue performance.
- Analyze market trends, booking patterns, and demand fluctuations to recommend pricing actions.
Support optimization of margins without impacting competitiveness.

Commercial Gap Identification

Identify gaps in direct contracting performance versus third-party suppliers.
- Highlight opportunities for tactical campaigns, promotions, and pricing corrections.
- Monitor underperforming destinations, chains, and hotel accounts.
Share actionable recommendations with Market Managers and commercial teams.

Marketplace Competitiveness

Monitor rate parity and competitor benchmarking across key destinations.
- Work on improving supply competitiveness and visibility.
- Support optimization of marketplace feeds, room mappings, and promotional participation.
Coordinate with Connectivity and Loading teams for operational corrections impacting conversion.

Data Analysis & Business Insights

Analyze production trends, conversion performance, booking windows, and supplier contribution.
- Prepare performance dashboards, yield reports, and optimization trackers.
- Share data-driven insights and commercial recommendations with leadership.
Work closely with BI teams for automation and reporting improvements.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Coordinate with Market Managers, Market Coordinators, Connectivity, Finance, and Product teams.
- Ensure timely execution of pricing and optimization actions.
- Follow up on pending corrective actions and commercial tasks.
Support strategic revenue and supply optimization projects.

Drive initiatives to improve share of wallet from direct contracted hotels.
- Support revenue-focused campaigns and tactical promotions.
- Participate in long-term pricing and supply optimization strategies.
Contribute toward automation and process improvement initiatives.
