QA/QC Apprentice
Department :Quality Assurance / Quality Control
Reporting To: Assistant Manager – Quality
Duration: 1 Year Apprenticeship
Core Objective
To support Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities by conducting routine quality checks, assisting in laboratory testing, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities Quality Control Activities
- Assist in testing and analysis of raw materials, work-in-process samples, and finished products.
- Perform routine sampling and quality inspections as per established procedures.
- Support verification of product quality, composition, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in identifying non-conforming materials and reporting deviations to the reporting manager.
- Ensure timely testing and release of production and export consignments.
- Participate in daily analysis activities for Green Pepper, HVP, Protein, and other product categories.
Documentation & Record Keeping
- Maintain complete records of laboratory tests and analytical reports.
- Assist in maintaining QA/QC documentation and records for traceability.
- Support preparation of quality reports and test summaries.
- Ensure all quality check sheets are completed accurately and on time.
Food Safety & Compliance
- Assist in GMP, hygiene, and food safety monitoring activities.
- Support internal and external audit preparations.
- Participate in pest control monitoring and food safety initiatives.
- Assist in implementation of corrective and preventive actions for non-compliance observations.
- Follow all company SOPs, food safety standards, and quality procedures.
Continuous Improvement
- Support quality improvement projects and process optimization initiatives.
- Participate in training programs and learn industry best practices in quality management.
Educational Qualification
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Food Technology, Food Science, or related disciplines.
- Fresh graduates and candidates eligible for apprenticeship training are encouraged to apply.

- Basic understanding of food quality and food safety systems.
- Knowledge of laboratory testing and analytical techniques.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines.
- Teamwork and collaboration.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, BRC, GFSI, and related standards will be an added advantage.
