Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant – Azure & AWS Server Management + Active Directory (AD)
The Principal Consultant – Azure & AWS Server Management + AD is a strategic and technical leadership role responsible for defining cloud and hybrid server management strategy across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, with deep expertise in Active Directory and Identity Services. This role acts as a trusted advisor to clients, drives large-scale transformations, ensures operational excellence, and governs best practices across enterprise and managed services environments.
Responsibilities

Define cloud and hybrid server management strategy, roadmaps, and reference architectures
-
Govern Azure & AWS IaaS designs, landing zones, and operational models
-
Lead server modernization, cloud migration, and identity transformation initiatives
-
Establish standards, best practices, and design governance across accounts
-
Provide architectural oversight for Azure and AWS server platforms (Windows & Linux)
-
Govern VM lifecycle management including provisioning, patching, hardening, backup, DR, and decommissioning
-
Ensure high availability, scalability, performance optimization, and cost efficiency
-
Review and approve capacity planning, DR strategies, and resilience designs
-
Own enterprise Active Directory (AD DS) architecture: forests, domains, trusts, DNS, and GPO strategy
-
Lead Azure AD / Entra ID and hybrid identity architectures (AAD Connect, Cloud Sync, Federation)
-
Define governance for IAM, RBAC, Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, and Zero Trust models
-
Drive AD security hardening, tiered admin model, and identity risk reduction
-
Provide leadership oversight for L3/L4 escalations and major incidents
-
Drive root cause analysis (RCA), problem management, and preventive controls
-
Define and track SLAs, SLOs, KPIs, and service maturity metrics
-
Ensure alignment with ITIL, ISO 27001, CIS, and audit/compliance requirements
-
Drive automation-first and IaC-led operations using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform

Promote standardized builds, golden images, and self-healing platforms
-
Lead cloud cost optimization and FinOps initiatives
-
Identify and implement AIOps and intelligent operations capabilities
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
