Your impact
Description
Jacobs is seeking a BIM Modeler, who will provide drafting and modeling support for Public Health and Fire fighting service. This position requires proficiency in Autodesk software, specifically AutoCAD and Revit. Candidates with graduate BE must have a minimum of 8 years- experience providing BIM execution oversight, model management, model QC and VDC support. Knowledge of HVAC service modelling will be an added advantage. Candidate with ITI or Diploma shall have minimum of 10 years of experience with skills as below.
Daily Duties/Tasks
Detailed modeling for PHE, Fire Protection, HVAC Services with Sections, 3D views, enlarged views, Annotation, and Detailing Quantity schedules, templates, Title sheet setting etc.
Creating & editing the MEP Revit Families with Parameters.
Space Planning of PHE and Fire Protection Equipment’s.
Should possess experience working in various BIM Discipline.
Performing Clash Analysis within services, for all other services & solving the clashes if any.
Conversion of Revit models to other formats such as CAD, DWF & PDF.
Generating Sections/Schedules/Schematics in models.
Sizing of HVAC ducts and Pipe along with routing.
Provide CAD drafting/BIM modeling and design support.
Obtain work assignments of either specific design elements or CAD drafting from project managers.
Use checklists set-up for quality control on each project and submit work according to deadlines.
Provide an accurate accounting of time spent on projects with descriptions for each time entry on a weekly basis.
Demonstrate proactive approach to learning of new digital design tools.
Ability to work individually and as part of a team to meet deadlines.

Ability to articulately convey (verbally, visually, graphically) digital design concepts to design and delivery professionals with varying levels of understanding.
Demonstrate a reliable, responsive, and positive work ethic with the highest degree of integrity.
Ability to exercise judgment and discretion and to set priorities and manage competing demands.
Demonstrated ability to develop learning material, deliver effective training and provide ongoing education and support to Revit project teams
Experience on Hospitality, Healthcare, Aviation and Rail Sector will be an added advantage.
