Job Requirements

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Technical Development & Delivery

Lead D365 F&O implementations, upgrades, and customizations
Develop using:
- X++ (core development)
- Extension framework (upgrade-safe customizations)
Build reports using:
- SSRS, Power BI, MS Fabric
Perform code reviews and performance optimization

2. Integration Engineering

Design and implement integrations using:
- OData, REST, SOAP APIs
- AIF / DMF
- Azure Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Data Factory)
- Dual Write (Dataverse integration)
Enable real-time data exchange across systems

3. Data, Security & Performance

Manage:
- Data migration (DMF)
- Security roles & workflows
- Batch jobs & performance tuning
Handle large transactional datasets efficiently

4. DevOps & Environment Management

Work with:
- Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines)
- GitHub (version control, branching)
Manage deployments across:
- Dev / UAT / Prod environments
Use:
- Lifecycle Services (LCS)
- Power Platform Admin Center

5. Automation & Technical Assets

Build:
- Reusable templates, accelerators
Automate using:
- Copilot Studio, AI Builder
- Python (test automation scripts)
Create:
- Technical Design Documents (TDDs)

6. Collaboration & Leadership

Lead technical discussions and solution design
Mentor developers and ensure delivery quality
Work with:
- Finance, Supply Chain, IT stakeholders

7. Continuous Improvement

Stay updated with:
- Microsoft ecosystem & Azure services
Apply best practices in architecture, DevOps, governance

Work Experience

Core Technical Skills

D365 F&O / AX expertise (6+ years)
X++ advanced programming
Strong knowledge of:
- F&O architecture (layered, extensibility)
- SSRS reporting
- Performance tuning

Integration & Data

APIs: REST, SOAP, OData
Tools: AIF, DMF, Dual Write
Azure:
- Logic Apps
- Service Bus
- Data Factory
Strong SQL + data migration + ETL knowledge

DevOps & Tools

Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
GitHub version control & branching
Environment & release management

Advanced / Preferred Skills

Microsoft Fabric (data & reporting)
AI tools:
- Copilot Studio
- AI Builder
Testing automation:
- Python, Selenium, Playwright, JMeter, etc.
