Job Description

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain application using Java.
Build web and backend services with Java and Struts/Stripes framework (JSP pages)
Collaborate with users, product owners to understand issues in existing application and design requirements from them
Act as technical mediator between support team and core technical team.
Work on configurable framework and formulas
Design/Maintain configurable screens
Implement secure coding practices
Integrate applications with databases.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following industry best practices.
Participate in code reviews.
Troubleshoot production issues and support root cause analysis

Preferred qualifications

Strong proficiency in Core and advanced Java
Strong proficiency in front end technologies like JavaScript/jsp/struts/stripes
Good communication skills to interact and understand user issues
Good problem solving skills
Solid understanding of REST server‑side frameworks
Experience with databases.
Familiarity with Git and modern version control workflows
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in Agile team

Qualifications

Bachelors - Computer Engineering, Bachelors - Computer Science, Bachelors - Information Technology, Masters - Software Engineering

Certifications

Oracle Certified Java Associate - OracleOracle
