Full job description

Senior C++ Developer (Algorithmic Trading)

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist in design decision for the infrastructure team for a high frequency, low latency trading system across a wide range of projects.
Act as a hands–on developer for projects as assigned. Will be required to work independently
Manage projects and act as Team Lead

Experience/Skills:

Well versed in C++ Multithreading programming
Excellent Object Oriented programming skills using C++, Java, C# programming languages
Experience working with middleware messaging library (Tibco, 29west, etc)
Excellent understanding of various network protocols (TCP, UDP multicast/unicast), a good understanding of threading/memory/networking architecture on Windows (Linux is a plus)
Experience in developing applications expected to run 24×7
Strong command of spoken and written English. The position involves extensive interaction with teams in London and New York and good communication skills are a prerequisite.

Qualifications:

5-10 years of experience as Senior C++ Developer/Architect
Ability to work on multiple tasks in a fast–paced environment
Familiarity with FIX protocol, market data distribution, order handling is a plus
Good communication skills, ability to write design documents (Visio diagram, UML, data flow analysis, etc.) and experience with requirements capturing is a plus.

This position requires candidates with exceptional technical, analytical and communication skills and provides ample opportunity for growth. Must be interested in working on cutting-edge technologies and do well in a collaborative environment. Bachelors/Masters degree in a scientific major is required.
