Full job description

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technical Engineer with strong expertise in commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. The candidate should possess hands-on experience in the design, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, operation, and maintenance of refrigeration and cooling equipment.

Knowledge of

Extensive knowledge of Water-Cooled and Air-Cooled Chiller Systems, including installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

* Hands-on experience with Ice Cube Machines, Ice Flake Machines, and Ice Plant Systems, including refrigeration cycle diagnostics and maintenance.

* Strong expertise in Cold Storage Facilities, Cold Rooms, Ripening Chambers, and Walk-in Chillers/Freezers.

* Experience in Deep Freezers, Blast Freezers, and Low-Temperature Refrigeration Systems.

* Knowledge of Visi Coolers, Bottle Coolers, Display Refrigerators, Commercial Refrigeration Units, and Beverage Cooling Systems.

* Ability to diagnose and repair refrigeration system components including compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, controls, and refrigerant circuits.

* Thorough understanding of refrigeration cycles, psychrometrics, heat transfer principles, and thermodynamics.

* Experience with refrigerants such as R134a, R404A, R407C, R410A, R290, and other environmentally compliant refrigerants.

* Knowledge of refrigeration piping design, chilled water systems, condenser water systems, and cooling tower operations.

* Ability to perform cooling load calculations and equipment selection for refrigeration and HVAC applications.

* Experience in testing, commissioning, performance monitoring, and preventive maintenance of refrigeration equipment.

* Familiarity with PLC-based controls, temperature monitoring systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), and remote monitoring solutions.

* Ability to analyze system efficiency, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement energy-saving solutions.

* Knowledge of food-grade cold storage standards, temperature mapping, and refrigeration safety requirements.

* Experience in preparing technical reports, maintenance schedules, root cause analysis reports, and commissioning documentation.

* Ability to read and interpret HVAC/refrigeration drawings, P&IDs, electrical schematics, and technical specifications.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD and HVAC/Refrigeration design software.

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related field.

* Experience in food processing plants, dairy facilities, beverage industries, cold chain logistics, supermarkets, hotels, pharmaceutical facilities, or industrial refrigeration projects.

* Certification in HVAC/Refrigeration Systems, Energy Management, or Industrial Refrigeration will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
