Full job description

Path to full-time employment: This is a full-time 6-month internship program. Candidates who demonstrate strong performance during and at the end of the internship will be offered a full-time position at Nerditia.

Who can apply:

Mandatory requirement: Candidates must hold a valid Digital Marketing Diploma from a recognised institution. Applications without this will not be considered.
Fresh graduates or candidates in their final year of study in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business, or a related field
This is an On-Site position, so please only apply if you can commute to the office location on daily basis. NO REMOTE/HYBRID people, please don't waste ours and yours time.
Active and genuine interest in social media — you follow trends, experiment with content, and understand what performs on each platform
Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X (Twitter) from both a user and a content perspective
Ability to write clear, engaging, and grammatically correct copy in English
Exposure to Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, or any scheduling tool is an advantage
Basic knowledge of Canva or any design tool to create simple social creatives is a plus
A personal blog, Instagram page, LinkedIn presence, or any content you have previously created will strengthen your application
Willingness to learn fast, take ownership, and work in a high-energy agency environment

Job Description:

As a Social Media Marketing Intern at Nerditia, you will work directly on live client accounts from day one. This is a hands-on, 6-month program — you will plan content, write copy, coordinate with the design team, track performance, and learn how a performance marketing agency operates end to end. By the time you finish, you will have a full portfolio of real agency work and the skills to match.

What You Will Do:

Assist in creating and managing monthly content calendars for multiple client social media accounts
Write captions, hashtags, and short-form copy tailored to each brand's tone and target audience
Brief the design team on creative requirements for posts, reels, stories, and carousels
Schedule and publish content using social media management tools accurately and on time
Monitor comments, DMs, and community interactions and respond or escalate as required
Track and compile weekly performance reports — reach, engagement rate, follower growth, and CTR
Research trending content formats, audio, hashtags, and competitor activity to bring fresh ideas to the team
Support the paid media team by aligning organic content strategy with active ad campaigns

6-Month Internship Timeline

Phase 1 (Months 1 – 2):

Onboarding, platform familiarisation, and assisting seniors on live accounts

Phase 2 (Months 3 – 4)

Independent content planning, publishing, community management, and reporting

Phase 3 (Months 5 – 6)

Full account ownership, strategy input, final evaluation, and performance review
