Job Responsibilities of an Assistant Professor (M.Ed., Natural Science) for B.Ed. Teacher TraineesTeach B.Ed. students courses related to Natural Science education and pedagogy.Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and academic resources.Train future teachers in effective classroom teaching methods and educational technologies.Conduct practical sessions, demonstrations, workshops, and micro-teaching activities.Supervise teaching practice, internships, and school-based training programs.Guide students in action research, projects, assignments, and dissertations.Assess student performance through examinations, presentations, and continuous evaluation.Mentor and counsel teacher trainees regarding academic and professional development.Participate in curriculum planning, syllabus revision, and academic committees.Organize seminars, conferences, workshops, and faculty development programs.Engage in educational research and publish scholarly articles in relevant fields.Maintain academic records, reports, and accreditation-related documentation.Collaborate with schools and educational institutions for internship and outreach programs.Stay updated with recent developments in science education, pedagogy, and educational policies.Contribute to institutional development, quality assurance, and academic excellence initiatives.Essential SkillsStrong knowledge of Natural Science and Science Education.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Classroom management and mentoring abilities.Research and academic writing skills.Proficiency in educational technology and digital teaching tools.Ability to guide prospective teachers in professional ethics and best teaching practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Qualification:
Master’s Degree in Education (M.Ed) with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
Postgraduate degree in H with minimum 55% marks.
Desirable Qualification:
NET/SET/Ph.D. in Education or Hindi as per UGC/NCTE norms.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Strong academic background and commitment to teacher education.
