Full job description

Role: Data Analyst Intern
Stipend: ₹7,000 per month

About the Role

We’re looking for a Data Analyst Intern who can turn numbers into decisions.

You’ll work across two fast-growing businesses:

Pickle Fresh – a D2C food brand
Modern Theory – a branding and creative agency

Your role will be to collect, analyze, and visualize data that helps the leadership team make smarter business decisions. From marketing performance and sales trends to customer behaviour and operational metrics, you’ll build reports that uncover insights and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analytics

Create daily, weekly, and monthly business dashboards.
Monitor KPIs across both businesses.
Analyze revenue, profit, customer acquisition, retention, and growth trends.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
Present insights with actionable recommendations.

Marketing Analytics

Analyze Meta Ads and Google Ads performance.
Track CAC, ROAS, MER, CPA, CTR, CPC, CPM, and conversion rates.
Measure campaign performance across channels.
Build attribution reports and identify high-performing audiences.
Evaluate creative performance and customer funnels.

D2C & E-commerce Analytics – Pickle Fresh

Track Shopify performance and the customer journey.
Analyze AOV, LTV, repeat purchase rate, cart abandonment, checkout conversion, and refund trends.
Monitor inventory movement and product performance.
Study customer cohorts and purchasing behaviour.
Prepare sales and demand forecasting reports.

Agency Analytics – Modern Theory

Monitor project profitability.
Track lead generation, conversion rates, and the sales pipeline.
Analyze client acquisition costs and project margins.
Measure team productivity and project timelines.
Prepare business reports for management.

Reporting and Automation

Build dashboards using tools such as Google Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau.
Automate recurring reports wherever possible.
Clean and validate data from multiple sources.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
Experience with SQL for data extraction and analysis.
Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
Understanding of Shopify Analytics.
Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical teams.

Preferred Skills

Experience with D2C or e-commerce businesses.
Knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
Understanding of attribution and marketing analytics.
Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools.
Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is an added advantage.
