Role Description
We are looking for a Performance Marketing Lead with 4+ years of hands-on agency experience managing Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns while leading high-performing teams.
This role goes beyond campaign execution. The Performance Marketing Lead is responsible for driving performance outcomes across multiple accounts, mentoring team members, building optimization frameworks, improving delivery quality, and contributing to overall agency growth.
You will work closely with Pod Managers, Account Managers, Creative Teams, and senior leadership to ensure performance campaigns consistently achieve business objectives.
This is a leadership role with ownership of both results and people.

Key Responsibilities
- Performance Strategy Leadership
- Develop and oversee paid media strategies across Google Ads and Meta Ads
- Build campaign frameworks for lead generation, e-commerce, branding, and conversion-focused objectives
- Guide campaign planning across Search, Display, YouTube, Performance Max, Demand Gen, Meta Feed, Reels, Stories, and Lead Generation campaigns
- Recommend platform mix, budget allocation, and funnel strategy based on business goals
- Team Management and Mentorship
- Lead, mentor, and review the work of Senior Performance Marketers and Performance Marketers
- Conduct regular account reviews and optimization discussions
- Build training frameworks and improve team capability
- Support hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of team members
- Ensure campaign quality standards are maintained across all accounts
- Performance Ownership
- Own agency-level performance outcomes across assigned accounts
- Monitor CPL, CTR, CPC, ROAS, lead quality, conversion rates, and budget utilization
- Drive continuous optimization and performance improvement initiatives
- Identify risks early and implement corrective action plans
- Client Strategy and Communication
- Participate in high-level client strategy discussions
- Present campaign performance and future recommendations confidently
- Handle complex client concerns and performance escalations
- Build long-term client confidence through strategic thinking and performance delivery
- Budget and Portfolio Management
- Oversee multiple client accounts with significant monthly advertising spends
- Ensure efficient budget allocation across campaigns and platforms
- Review budget pacing, forecasting, and scaling opportunities
- Maintain profitability and performance efficiency across accounts
- Tracking, Analytics and Reporting
- Ensure accurate implementation of GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Conversion APIs, and tracking frameworks
- Review reporting accuracy and campaign insights before client delivery
- Establish reporting standards and dashboard frameworks
- Identify tracking gaps and implement solutions proactively
- Process Improvement and Innovation
- Create and improve performance marketing SOPs, checklists, and optimization frameworks
- Stay updated with platform changes, automation tools, AI tools, and emerging advertising trends
- Drive adoption of best practices across the performance team
- Contribute to new business proposals and growth initiatives

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 6–8 years of hands-on experience in a digital marketing agency
- Advanced expertise in Google Ads and Meta Ads platforms
- Strong understanding of performance marketing, lead generation, and conversion optimization
- Proven experience managing multiple high-budget accounts simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of CPL, CPC, CTR, ROAS, ROI, conversion tracking, and attribution models
- Expertise in GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Conversion APIs, and reporting tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong English communication and presentation skills
- Experience leading and mentoring performance marketing teams
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Agency experience is mandatory
- Has managed monthly advertising budgets exceeding ₹10 Lakhs+
- Experience across Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, B2B, and Lead Generation industries preferred
- Strong client-facing and leadership experience
- Comfortable managing multiple team members and client accounts simultaneously
