Role Overview
As a Marketing Intern at Tecurity Solutions, you will be at the forefront of our go-to-market efforts for the Retail Scoring Platform. You will drive awareness and generate leads by directly engaging with our target audience — wholesalers, distributors, and FMCG brands — through cold calling, channel marketing, and relationship-building activities. This is a handson, performance-oriented role ideal for someone eager to gain real-world B2B marketing and sales experience in a high-growth startup environment
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted cold calls to potential clients, including wholesalers, distributors, FMCG brands, retailers, and other relevant stakeholders in the supply chain ecosystem.
- Pitch and present Tecurity's Retail Scoring Platform effectively over the phone, via email, and in-person meetings to generate qualified leads and schedule demos.
- Plan and execute channel marketing campaigns to build awareness of the Retail Scoring Platform within the B2B distribution network.
- Identify and develop relationships with channel partners such as trade associations, industry networks, and distribution aggregators to amplify product reach.
- Research and build prospect databases of target companies and decision-makers (procurement managers, sales heads, brand managers) in the FMCG and wholesale sectors.
- Collaborate with the core team to develop marketing collateral, pitch decks, brochures, and email templates tailored to B2B audiences.
- Maintain and update CRM records with prospect information, call logs, follow-up status, and conversion data.
- Track and report on key marketing metrics, including calls made, leads generated, conversion rates, and campaign performance.
- Assist in planning and representing Tecurity Solutions at trade events, expos, and industry networking events relevant to the FMCG and retail sector.
- Share market feedback and insights gathered from client interactions to help improve product positioning and messaging.
Who We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Hindi or a regional language is an added advantage for client outreach.
- Confident, persuasive, and comfortable with making cold calls and pitching to business decision-makers.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of B2B sales cycles, FMCG distribution channels, or retail ecosystems is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho) and digital marketing tools is desirable.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hunger to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Ability to handle rejection gracefully and maintain a positive, persistent approach in outbound outreach.

Compensation
The stipend for this internship will be mutually discussed and agreed upon during the interview process, based on the candidate's profile, experience, and availability.
