About the Role
Position Overview
Risto Solar is seeking an ERP & MIS Executive to support and manage the organization's ERPNext platform, business reporting, and process digitization initiatives. The role will act as the bridge between business users, management, and ERP implementation partners to ensure efficient utilization and continuous improvement of ERP systems.
The ideal candidate should possess functional knowledge of ERPNext, strong analytical skills, report creation capabilities, and the ability to understand business processes and translate them into system requirements. The candidate should also be capable of performing basic ERPNext configurations, report customizations, and low-code developments.
Key Responsibilities
ERP Administration
- Manage day-to-day ERPNext operations.
- Create and manage user accounts and role-based permissions.
- Maintain workflow configurations and approval structures.
- Monitor ERP data quality and process compliance.
- Support ERP users across departments.
- Coordinate ERP issue resolution and troubleshooting.
MIS & Reporting
- Create and maintain management reports and dashboards.
- Develop department-wise MIS reports.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly business reports.
- Analyze ERP data and provide actionable insights.
- Automate recurring reports where possible.
- Support management review meetings with relevant data and analytics.
Business Process Coordination
- Understand existing business workflows.
- Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Document business requirements and use cases.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Ensure successful implementation of approved process improvements.
ERP Development Support
- Perform basic ERPNext configurations and customizations.
- Create custom fields, reports, print formats, and workflows.
- Configure notifications, approvals, and automation rules.
- Assist in creating scripts and low-code customizations.
- Support testing and deployment of enhancements.
Vendor Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for ERP implementation partners.
- Coordinate enhancement requests and issue resolution.
- Follow up on development timelines and deliverables.
- Validate vendor deliverables before production deployment.
- Maintain change logs and enhancement trackers.
User Support & Training
- Conduct ERP user training sessions.
- Create user manuals and SOPs.
- Assist employees in ERP adoption.
- Support onboarding of new ERP users.
Documentation
- Maintain process documentation.
- Maintain ERP configuration documentation.
- Maintain change request registers.
- Maintain issue and enhancement trackers.
- Document business workflows and approval structures.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
- 1–2 years of ERPNext experience.
- Experience in ERP support, MIS reporting, or business process coordination.
- Familiarity with project-based businesses, manufacturing, EPC, or service organizations is preferred.
