Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Coordinator specializing in interior design and project execution to join our team. In this role, you will be the vital link that ensures seamless communication, precise planning, and efficient management of construction projects from inception through completion. Your expertise will drive the successful delivery of interior spaces, coordinating between clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project goals on time and within budget. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects while honing your skills in construction management and project coordination.

Duties

Collaborate with designers, clients, and contractors to develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets using construction management software and project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6.
Coordinate daily activities on construction sites, ensuring adherence to schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications like Civil 3D drawings.
Assist in reviewing contracts, change orders, and scope documents to ensure clarity and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Utilize ProCore and Bluebeam for document management, RFIs (Request for Information), submittals, and tracking project progress.
Support cost estimating processes by preparing accurate construction estimates using HeavyBid or similar estimating software.
Monitor project timelines closely, adjusting schedules proactively to address delays or unforeseen issues while maintaining quality standards.
Facilitate communication among all stakeholders by preparing reports, meeting minutes, and progress updates that keep everyone aligned on project milestones.
Conduct site visits regularly to oversee safety protocols, verify work quality against blueprints and schematics, and ensure construction site experience aligns with project specifications.
Manage procurement processes by coordinating with suppliers for materials and equipment needed for interior finishes and structural components.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards throughout all phases of construction execution.

Skills

Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and Civil 3D.
Strong understanding of construction estimating techniques and contract administration processes.
Excellent project scheduling skills with the ability to develop detailed timelines using Primavera P6 or similar tools.
Deep knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction site experience across interior projects.
Effective communication skills for liaising between clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Exceptional time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently in fast-paced environments.
Familiarity with construction management principles including safety standards and quality control measures.
Ability to read contracts thoroughly and manage scope changes professionally while maintaining budget integrity.
