Position Overview
The Regional Manager – Partner Channel & Retail will be responsible for implementing Blue Dart’s retail and partner business strategy in the assigned region, ensuring network expansion, revenue growth, and consistent brand experience. This role will directly manage regional retail and partner performance, develop new channel opportunities, and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive sustainable growth.
Job Purpose
To lead and grow the retail and partner business within the assigned region, ensuring alignment with national strategy, delivering financial targets, enhancing customer access, and strengthening Blue Dart’s presence in both existing and new markets.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Regional Strategy Execution & Expansion

Execute the national retail and partner channel strategy at the regional level, tailoring initiatives to local market needs.

Identify high-potential locations for new outlets and partner tie-ups, ensuring optimal network coverage in Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 cities.
Revenue & Profitability

Achieve and exceed assigned revenue, volume, and profitability targets for the region.

Implement region-specific pricing, incentive, and promotional programs to drive performance.
Partner & Retail Outlet Management

Recruit, onboard, and nurture strategic partner relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual and operational standards.

Monitor outlet performance, address underperforming locations, and implement improvement plans.
Customer Experience & Brand Compliance

Ensure all regional outlets and partners consistently deliver high-quality service in line with Blue Dart’s brand promise.

Oversee visual merchandising, service delivery, and customer engagement standards at all locations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work with marketing, operations, and product teams to launch regional campaigns, new service offerings, and technology initiatives.

Coordinate with the finance and legal teams on partner agreements and payment structures.
Team Leadership

Lead and mentor the regional retail & partner sales team, ensuring skill development, motivation, and goal alignment.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
-
Graduate degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.

MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.
Experience:
-
10–12 years of experience in retail, partner/channel management, or commercial leadership, preferably in logistics, courier, e-commerce, or FMCG.

Experience in managing geographically dispersed teams and delivering revenue growth at a regional level.
