Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior QA Automation Engineer / QA Lead to take ownership of software quality and project delivery. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Playwright automation, modern AI-assisted testing approaches, CI/CD processes, and release management.

This role requires a quality-driven professional who can ensure timely project delivery, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive automation initiatives across multiple projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

Own end-to-end quality assurance activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright.
Create and execute automated test cases for Web, API, Integration, Regression, and End-to-End testing.
Work closely with developers, project managers, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and release activities.
Track, report, and manage defects through closure.
Perform root cause analysis and drive preventive quality measures.
Ensure projects are delivered on time with the expected quality standards.
Provide regular quality and delivery status updates to stakeholders.
Mentor junior QA team members and promote QA best practices.
Identify delivery risks and proactively drive resolution.

Required Skills

QA & Automation

2-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright Automation.
Experience in UI, API, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End Testing.
Strong understanding of test planning, test strategy, and defect lifecycle management.
Experience creating and maintaining automation frameworks.

AI-Powered Testing

Understanding of AI-assisted testing tools and workflows.
Experience with Playwright MCP or similar AI-driven testing approaches.
Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or other AI tools for test generation and debugging.
Understanding of LLM-based testing concepts is a plus.

DevOps & CI/CD

Strong knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
Experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar tools.
Experience integrating automated tests into deployment pipelines.
Understanding of release management and deployment validation.
