Full job description

Spreetail is looking for Refunds Analysts to drive refund performance and profitability across SKU, brand, and channel levels through data-driven insights, forecasting, and process improvements. This role will own refund reporting and reconciliation, develop models and dashboards, lead ad-hoc analyses, and partner with cross-functional and finance leaders to build plans that achieve profit targets. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, balances strategic and tactical work, maintains strong attention to detail, and brings experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and building data-driven solutions using Excel, SQL, and PowerBI.

How you will achieve success:

Execute and optimize processes that drive refund improvements across SKU, brand, and channel levels.
Maintain and enhance refund reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure accurate financial tracking and performance insights.
Develop models, templates, and reporting tools (Excel and other data tools) to support efficient decision-making and ad-hoc analysis.
Partner with cross-functional teams and finance leaders to build refund plans, improve profitability, and influence strategic outcomes.
Monitor operational metrics, ensure data accuracy, and identify opportunities for variance recovery and process improvements.

What experiences will help you in this role:

A Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience with 2+ years of financial analysis experience.
Expertise in Excel, SQL and PowerBI
Experience creating or improving warehouse management systems and processes.
You are proficient in budgeting, forecasting and analyzing financials results.
You are proficient in building models and business cases with business partners.

This is a remote position and requires candidates to have an available work-from-home setup

Desktop/Laptop system requirements:

4th generation or higher, at least Intel i3 or equivalent processor;
at least 4GB RAM;
Windows 10 and above or MAC OSX operating system
You are required to provide your own dual monitors

A strong and stable internet connection (A DSL, cable or fiber wired internet service with 10 Mbps plan or higher for primary connection)

PC Headset

A high-definition (HD) external or integrated webcam with at least 720p resolution.
